I'm opposed to the government changing legislation 'on the fly' just because one company does something bad. First, we need to make sure that the current laws don't cover this action. Then the parliament can look into the matter and if necessary make a new law after proper deliberations.

Where I'm from, the government is doing 50% kneejerk laws, without checking if existing laws covers the case (which is often the case)
If we're lucky Apple will realise that patent reform is in their best interests as well as ours. More likely though is that this will be seen by Apple as a sign they need to step up their legal activities even further.
If Apple and others conclude that Patent Reform is unavoidable, or in their interest, they will refocus part of their lobby and legal teams to ensure that it is as much in their interests(...) as possible, and as little-as-possible in ours (the public).
I run Firefox/Aurora with NoScript - even basic pages showing a single picture (IMGUR and its friends) doesn't work. Somehow, being given a unique URL and showing the related picture requires client-side script in order to load said picture.
Meanwhile, to get a faster internet, add Facebook and select Google domains to your internet filter (in router, AdBlock or whichever you prefer), and surfing suddenly gets more than 5% faster for most of the internets.
Recent articles point to Denmark (ca next to sweden) as having issues that fishermen are getting swordfish and other tropical species in their nets as by-catch, while the normal (local) fishies are moving north - all due to shift in the water temperature.
Close - this is a sure-fire way for McCain and Friends to get some sponsorships, once they let it slip they are drafting this bill and are looking for "input".
