Well, judging by your handle, I'd say it's because you are a shallow and lecherous individual who doesn't care much for anything deeper than you can penetrate.
To be honest, if there were fewer games out each year but each game released had 50% less bugs than previously released games, I would be completely satisfied. On the other hand, I'm a fairly patient person when it comes to game glitches, so unless the game refuses to work at all, I'd be fine with the way they are written at this point in time.
Why would anyone care? In the consumer driven market, oversupply would mean the cost of an individual unit would decrease. Combine an overage of product with the competition of the PS3, and prices would fall even more. Consumers would be the ones who would make out like bandits here, so why is anyone complaining?
Where are the screenshots? The description of the errors? The leaks experienced before the update? I don't quite understand how that qualifies as informative...
Actually, I will disagree with you. The people who are apt to buy gold are the people who have disposable incomes, and won't likely cut their subscription fees early because they decided to buy gold. I've been playing WoW since February of 2005, I have 2 level 60 characters and one level 57 character, soon to be 60. I only recently bought gold, but that was because I realized that I was sick of not having epic items... I'm not into the whole DKP system for getting epic loots, so I chose to buy BOE epics instead of raid for 5 months straight. Having done this, I am now more likely to KEEP playing, because I have invested more of my money into the game, and it's more fun to play!
Yes, I did speculate about Katamari specific, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's the name of the game that matters. I was merely pointing out the variability in games for the Nintendo Revolution... Of course, I made a mistake in posting Katamari, but we can dream, can't we?:-)
If that were the case, how would you aim at something? Would you make the center of the screen the fixed point at which to aim, like PC FPS'? That wouldn't work, moving the lightgun to the right of the screen is contrary to what is natural in a game like that. When using a lightgun, the first instinct would be to aim where you want to shoot... not aim where you want the screen to move.
It would only work if there wasn't a targeting reticule that moved with the lightgun. If the reticule was fixed in the center of the screen, then it still wouldn't be feasible to move like that, because with a mouse you can just pick it up and move it back. With a lightgun, if you move it back to the center, it's going to move your view back again... You'd never be able to turn!
Yeah well, I don't know about you, but I'd rather have one game that blew me away than one hundred games that were all different, yet sucked.
And besides, when has Nintendo ever been known to release titles that weren't varied? Nintendogs? Super Smash Bros? Mariokart? Super Mario 64? Katamari Damacy? I'd say that small example of games shows quite a variety of titles, wouldn't you?
The article says it uses the "positional controller" in place of a mouse, so I would assume that it means that you just move it to the right to make your character turn right.
A lightgun in a game where you have to actually move the character around would not work at all... You'd have to make movement on the left hand only, and how would you slide and turn at the same time? I'm curious to see how it actually works and feels.

Just sayin'...
... BIES! Yes it will.
... Facebook will be worth another couple hundred million once this technology comes out.
No no no, it's the iPalantír...

Technically, it's not the Source physics engine, it's the Havok physics engine.
(Laugh out loud)
And in this case, they would really be popular in their high school.
Daughter: "Check out the rack on this one!"
Horny Boy: Eyes bulging "Uhh... what?!"
Uhh...
He has daughters...
You're totally lying.
Chuck Norris' tears cure cancer. It's too bad he's never cried...
Girl gamers seem to be more level-headed about the whole thing to start with anyway, though.
That's because all the guy gamers are busy thinking about the girl gamers' boobs.

Katamari is rumored to be coming out for the Nintendo DS. Rumor isn't certain, but still, it's possible. :)
