Most US PxP broadcasters got their start in radio, which requires you to describe the action in detail. While not required anymore because of HDTV, Americans are used to this style. Personally, I don't mind descriptions of the action (even if it's obvious), I hate when they blab on and on about unrelated drivel the whole time, thinking they are so cute and clever.
I've actually seen F1 races on in the early morning when I can't sleep and I wasn't even looking for them. They shouldn't be hard for a fan in the US to find. I used to have a guy working for me that watched every single one of them.
While Pat Robertson believes that homosexuality is a sin that can be cured, it's bordering on character assassination to say that he would round people up and force them to do anything.
As a Christian and an American, it seems obvious to me that in order to have a free society, both Christians and Atheists must be free to criticize each others viewpoints in the public square of ideas. Otherwise, how does anyone have freedom of religion (or the freedom not to have a religion)?
I certainly wouldn't want to be arrested for quoting the Bible: "The fool says in his heart, there is no God." And if I want that freedom, I must allow Atheists the same freedom.
Um, yes. Why is there something wrong with that? Just because people believe that God occasionally did miracles doesn't mean that they're science haters or something. It's only the God-haters saying that.
No. He believes that the NRA doesn't try to control the lives of Americans, but instead to give them freedom. It's the government that is trying to control people, sometimes far beyond what is safe or reasonable. He may or may not be correct, but it's not really that hard to get at what he is saying.
Exactly. If he was talking about the early 2000s, where everything was a lame first-person shooter, then he might have a point. But the Lego series, Portal series and games like the Arkham series are changing all that.
My kids watch Nick shows (iCarly mostly) and they were sad that it was going away, but then I reminded them that there are no new episodes right now and they were fine with it. They also understood that DirecTV shouldn't pay 30% more for the same thing and get nothing extra. It was interesting to see them start to understand how the world works.

It's catsup in England. Duh.

We'd have to anyway. All US flags are made in China...

I always lied on company-given anonymous surveys. What are they going to do? Call you on it?
O-R-A-C-L-E?
And Vista was still too slow on it...
Sorry. Forgot the scale Google is introducing here. 5Mbps down, 1Mbps up. Plenty respectable for $300 for 7 years.
People seem to be saying 5000 down 1000 up.
Sad isn't it. It's the absolute truth and yet it sounds weird to people these days.
Sure. The FIRST gun was hard to make. But if you had to make 1000, would you rather whittle them out of wood or 3D print them?

The people ruling on Apple v. Samsung ALREADY don't know their shapes.
And built on top of .NET, not some new half-baked RT crap...
No. They just need to suddenly stop selling them to Apple. They lose 8.8% of their market. Apple loses 100% of theirs.

But...but...but...Socialism!!!
Dislike? If so, the Tolkien estate is the only entity on earth that dislikes the LOTR movies...
Is this anything new? I loaded CadreBible on my Asus Transformer already. It even has the original Greek for free.
I, for one, am very happy they do this. This allows them to have the broadest selection of channels for the lowest price.
It was an entertaining battle of scrolling text.
