  1. Don't they realize that the removal of NN affects them negatively? I mean, why pay lobby money when i can just silence the opposition? I know this is a harsh simplification, but still.....

I am still baffled by how nobody really reacted to their emotional manipulation study, where they actively (and successfully) controlled the moods of a few hundred K users for some time. If that isn't the biggest red flag ever, i don't think anyone will ever do anything against FB. But then again, systems like that are every governments wet dream, i guess.

  5. The uninformed jock gamers outnumber the informed gamers probably 100:1. "Voting with your wallet" is not an effective instrument anymore once you belong to a minority....

but FB isn't interested in the hashes. They are interested in getting the picture, generating lots of tags for advertisers, then generate the hash, then delete it (maybe). Just uploading hashes from the client would exclude FB from the part of the process they are interested in.

  9. but hashes are harder to data mine on, dummy.

  10. Rocking the wipeout collection in 4k 60 fps on my ps4 pro.
Also, most* fullHD games now run in 60 fps on the pro. With a little supersampling thrown in for image quality.

    * Games that revceived a pro patch or are compatible with boost mode, which tries to do that automatically for games without pro support.

The really sad thing is that this logical argument flies directly in the face of reality. Just compare gun violence statistics from the U.S. with some country that has strict gun control laws, like Austria, or Australia.

Do you use the word "leader" in america? Because here in Austria/Germany, that word is kinda taboo. Wherever possible, we use other words instead.
