Case of "Life imitates Art". Every superhero comic is about that. What i fail to grasp is why is it cool in fiction but sad in reality? (honest question)
You wouldn't believe how many people actually browse that way. I have seen my fair share of people that type URLs in the searchfield of their google homepage.
What irks me is that supposedly after the ban, legally bought PSN content wont work locally anymore. I know it is in their EULA, and that software is a service jadda jadda.
But when i buy a game just to get it taken away because i did something to the system, i get angry. Regardless of whats in their EULA.
Xbox360: "The Xbox is beyond being a gaming console. It is the central hub for any entertainment in your living room" (Marketing blurb regarding Hulu and other services).
maybe they are walking in lockstep with THEIR society? People tend to be rather ignorant of peer groups not their own, even more so if they do not have regular contact with them.
I never quite grasped how suicide being illegal does anything. What is the penalty for committing this crime?
Or is it just to discourage those "help message suicides" that are not meant serious? So if i am totally desperate, and not the brightest person, and use such a method to call for help, i don't get help but rather get penalized? Seems a bit tough for me...
I understand that platforms like consoles and the iCool stuff benefit from the unified platform, but why is this SUCH a big issue? Computers were always fragmented and no two machines were the same in my vicinity, yet still there was working software everywhere - sometimes even crossing OS-borders (playing q3 between different windows and linux versions was never a problem).
I am not a coder, so could someone explain to me why all of a sudden diversity is such a problem?
Well, some people are not "most of the people", and i like that there is one browser who caters to that group.

I guess that depends on taste. I played through H2 and H3 Campaign and really liked the pacing and soundtrack and how it flows and climaxes like an action movie (especially H3 with the last "driving away from destruction" - level). Then you go online to meet Killer marines with childs voices (that often have necrophilia for my dead mom) and pretty repetitive twitch shooting - which is not such a fine thing when playing with a joypad; Gears handled this part a lot better with its deliberately slow flow.
Coop Campaign was the sweet spot for me. Just 3 friends, and some ongoing gameplay with some flow instead of killing the same people over and over in a confined space for 10 minutes. So for me, reviewing the campaign was actually the best thing that could happen. Everyone else talks about "forges" and "playlists" and whatnot in their reviews anyways so i actually am quite happy to read such a review for a change.
Care to share a Link? All i find are infos on Android, N900, TI ports. And a twitter statement from Mathieulh (PSP and PS3 hacker) that there will be no iOS port. Which would be sad.
>>> Can anyone explain why you need a JTAG mode to play this game?
Because the game was released as an unencrypted download title. This way, you can not generate a working ISO to burn from it, as you don't know which way to encrypt it to match the release discs.
>>> JTAG mode allows you to unban your console (by changing the ID)
Yeah, but you need an existing keyvault from an unbanned XBox to do that, so this method is highly impractical. The workaround for JTAGs to use this leak is more along the lines playing the games over Xlink Kai, a LAN-tunneling service, which will provide a crappy gameplay experience./Tinfoil hat on/ The way this was leaked (only works on JTAGs which are few and gimped multiplayer and MP is the main draw of the game) makes me think that it is possible this is intentional. All the Youtube clips showing ingame details work perfectly as some sort of guerilla marketing to amp up the hype./Tinfoil hat off/

Do NOT type "Google" into Google! It breaks the Internet!!!!
Way to get your kid beaten up at school on a regular basis....
I am pretty sure this will be about the same uneducated fail as the Guinnes "20 most influental Games of all times".
If that is not the best practical "in soviet russia..." joke, i don't know what is.
Don't ever do that again.
go troll 4chan

I can live without PSN.

especially verbally. People saying "lol" with a stone cold face always makes me cringe...
"... leading to a fragmented Internet without the universal connectivity we've previously taken for granted."
Does the existing 'net suddenly start to rot away or what?

kilocore, megacore, gigacore?
Just give the ability to return the DLC somehow. Then bad DLC will have no chance.

because doing so would actually need some more effort than just run a script, i believe. And the majority of 4chan are morons.

Jay and Silent Bob. So there must be good parts.
Not gonna happen.

PSN stays accessible through a Custom Proxy without the updates.
