What amuses me is how all the slashlosers will come out of the woodwork, getting ready to stamp their feet and gnash their teeth, and thinking they're going to excoriate this guy with their self-righteous zingers. This guy doesn't need your respect. He has more money, has better technical skills, and probably overall has a better life than most of the best-buy lifers and junior-college fuckups that infest this site. I'm sure he's very upset that some fat, goateed LARPER has strong opinions about him.

It's an investment when the person voluntarily providing the money decides where he wants to spend it - it's legalized theft otherwise.

I see how you might be confused. You're under the mistaken assumption that the money you are "providing" with your taxes belonged to you to begin with. But that portion of your income is not your money, but rather, our money(your's and mine and everyone else's). So it can't be theft, since instead of someone taking your money from you, we(as a society that also includes you) are taking it back, as its' rightful owners. You may resent the fact that your labor was used to make the portion of our money, that your taxes provided, available to us. And to that, I can only say to stop being so selfish. Do your part, and do it with joy.

Some, like myself, don't want to pay at all for someone else's kids education. Ya, ya, supposedly it "benefits" me in some way. Until someone can argue specifics and not generalities (my son might be a doctor that saves your life! Maybe, but more likely not.), I think parents should pay for thier own kids schooling.

Unfortunately(for you), I don't have to make an argument on behalf of a public school system, because we already have one! My side won, so I don't have to explain anything to you- just shut the fuck up and pay your taxes.

Ahh, roleplaying games: the activity of fatties and unemployed junior college dropouts- truly the pinnacle of human evolution. Contributions to society include: boosting 4Q profits for frito-lay and pespsiCo(the respective makers of cheetos and mountain dew), several tons of urine filled mountain dew bottles, nietzsche misquotes, the columbine high school massacre, and of course, endless misanthropic internet posts about how blah blah world is overpopulated blah blah stupid people blah blah breeding blah blah blah gene-pool, which are not so much about eugenics but rather the author's experiences with social rejection in high school. If humanity is ever put to the test with a new predator or plague, it will be you and your kind left standing over the rubble, ready to repopulate with the world with the thousands of fat, stupid women with black lipstick that are your genetic birthright. And Wumpscut will sing the new national anthem.

Yes. Most of slashdot will not make it out of junior college. Here's an excellent copied-and-pasted description of the "crab bucket mentality" that plagues slashlosers:

Anyone familiar with the behaviour of a bunch of crabs trapped at the bottom of a bucket will know what happens when one of them tries to climb to the top; instead of attempting the climb themselves, those left at the bottom of the bucket will do all in their collective power to drag the climber back down.

This is why anything cool or interesting that winds up on the front page gets second-guessed and nitpicked to death by an army of geeky nobodies- pasty, pudgy, goateed cubicle shit who will never amount to anything.
