...and this is why i use.net for my development. yes, the OS is not free, and the GOOD.net dev tools are not free. But the entire engine and framework are a giveaway beyond that and consistent... no weird licensing stuff with using the framework.
I mean the prices are pretty good and the site is full of useful content and info about the products. However, it's not Newegg, millions of product reviews are already there, competitive prices already and pretty decent customer services. The new CircuitCity.com is ultimately "meh" to me. I mean if you HATE Newegg, this might be an OK alternative... i guess.... MEH
While I will concede that the writing in F3 was pretty below-par akin to the rest of the series... the "skipping the story" bits can happen in F1 and F2 also - whether this was intentional in F3, remains to be seen.
PHP5 and, soon 6, is pretty strong. PHP5 has a fairly proper inheritance and member visibility model and is truly reference based (i.e. $objX = $objY means, in PHP5, that they are reference to the same object instance... opposed to PHP4 where $objX = $objY made a FULL copy of the object to $objX). Not perfect, but not bad - the rest of the language/API needs a cleanup, which lookd like v6 will help address.
In a way, yes.... but F2 overdid that. F2 was still fun, but F1 had the perfect balance of story, humor and easter eggs, while F2 was "let's see how much shit we can put in there!!"
Since I have switched to CFL... none of my light bulbs has ever burned out yet for 9+ months. With incandescents, I was changing 5-6 light-bulbs a month (I live in an older house, the electric grid and the wiring in the place I live is not always ideal for traditional light bulbs)
Honestly, this should have happen long ago... this way there is LESS gray area to weed through, people get their goods, the "people in charge" make more money and the rise of less legitimate operations slow down.
Is it perfect, nope, not a bad way to go ultimately.
... are you just happy to see m.. WAIT, that IS an emperor penguin colony
EA only publishes them physically. Valve electronically publishes them through Steam.

My only surpise here is that people use eMule still?
In reality.... SKYNET does not EXIST!

So, what you're saying is... that there is a card that is MORE than $500 that can do that???
It was a very fetching story
I wanna use my Atari to play E.L.U.M.
The only positive of that, is MAYBE MS would kill off Business Objects once and for all (yes, I know, a pipe dream)
If you mean "soon" as in PHP6 will have namespaces, then yes, will be "soon".

In my day, TSR meant "Tactical Studies Rules" - uphill... both ways... and not on my lawn!

looks like a whole lot of kittens are gonna die :(

NOTE TO SELF: code future IVR system to respond to "*6", instead, for operator requests.

Pretty much in ever class that I remember since the 3-4th grade. All through college and every meeting I bring pad/pen to.
In fact, my meeting notes, have WAY more random scribbles and weird drawings than actual notes.
