What causes obesity? It's a lack of self-respect and self-discipline (really the same thing)....if you eat more calories than[sic] you burn you will gain weight.

You don't know that. Evidence indicates it's much more complicated. (e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBnniua6-oM)

    Yes, this is true.

British Airways always checks my UK visa before letting me return home; they are responsible for me until I'm accepted by the destination country, and if I can't demonstrate I have a legal right to be accepted there, they don't let me check in.

I used to have a beat up, sweated upon, discolored and frayed passport. I had real difficulty getting into Iceland and also to Schiphol once. The border agents wanted a full explanation from me about the passport's condition. "No, I didn't wash it; it's just old!"

Why do you guys assume the drones won't fly according to standard flight rules? You know, airplanes don't smash into other airplanes all the time like birds do, because they behave in controlled and agreed upon ways and they actively participate in radio communications. Same as with an unmanned aerial drone.

Now, autonomous flying drones will be a different story, but that's a little bit out in the future still.

Could you be more specific? I read a book on social engineering recently (No Tech Hacking, Johnny Long) and my "placeholder conclusion" for the time being is that good social engineering cannot be protected against.

I'm really curious about how this can be done in a systematic way. Thanks.

That's untrue. You can assume the worst and protect your application by following secure coding checklists, code reviews and static analysis. You don't need some sort of reformed hacker on your team in order to be effective.
