For one thing what does 4+ years tell you about real world IT work? and IT does not help the tech schools and on line ones are looked down on. Why should a school that's more well known for it's football team be better then a tech school?

Why should someone go to a big 4 year school and take lot's of frillier (non IT / CS / TECH) courses to round out the 4 years vs a tech school that has more tech based class to take?
Some certs can be just as bad real world but they seem to be more on topic then a 4 year BS. But still you can Ace the test and still have no clue while the guy with 2-4 years doing IT can't as they are not good at taking testes and or what they see in real would work is far from what is on the test.
what about skills that people have not used for years but they sill have it on the resume? or stuff they know about but have not see it used it in a office?
headhunters / recruiters like to mess with the CV some even push people in to job they are not fit from / don't have the skills for.
I have had recruiters put be on the job just to have the job You have alot of effort but you don't have the skills to do this job and that was for a job that not a IT job and had little to do IT at all but some how a recruiter took a IT CV and landed on this job.
just have speeds limits that are not to low Chicago area toll roads and Interstates are to low. They should be 65 or maybe even 70.
The limit is 55 and next to no one does 55 most people drive 65-70 some do 75-80+. It can be unsafe to do 55 when others are doing 65-70. Also the work zone 45 is a joke make it 55 and full speed when no one is working.
Have hands on to tests as well and don't have fixed answers when more then 1 way can be the right answers and don't give a 0 for ones that get half of the answer right.

no it's just people cutting corners to save cash sometimes it's cheaper to pay out on the death of a worker then to pay the cash to make it safer. It's time for some big time fines for doing that.

but steeling sat tv is not the same as running your own code / Linux on a box that you own and it not like you can useing and they just get games for free by just hookinh the hacked box up like how it was with sat tv hack the card hook up the dish and get free HBO.

Tests just test how good your memory is. Not how to use that info in work place / real life.
Some certification tests are like that you can learn the test and have little to no idea on how to use that info in the work place.
If apple had a more open app store then the need for flash will not be as bad.

Atmel boards are used for meny other things and stern pinball use them in there pinball games.
