I usually will not upgrade until I can double the speed of my processor, HD, etc. I currently run an AMD 1.6ghz with enormous storage and nice video card...I could probably double that right now, but my Guild Wars runs just fine on it:o)

I have come to expect just the oposite from Intel...I have not purchased a single processor from them since 1997, due to my perception of them being evil and making shitty products... I just can't handle a company who ditches 9000 employees right after they announce a new product, it makes me want to hurl.
Right....Classified systems are on a seperate network...until, that is, some network eng. patches them together to make his/her job easier. Have you ever done a audit of a military/government network? I personally have, and found over 60 paths to so called "Secured" networks from a machine which was Internet accessable...Let's stop cherry picking, and call it like it is...totally kludged up, non-functonal, messy security at best.
Mitnik seems to be doing pretty good now a days...granted, they were a bit rough on him, holding him without trial and all, but he has made the best of it.

You would be correct...Currently, I am running Solaris, Windows, Ubuntu and OpenSuSE. I don't run OSX yet, but would like to some time when I have time to play with it. Not that I am the sterotypical geek, but am somewhat geeky:o)
Well Said!! I have done the same. I had not bought a new CD/Album in about 5 years, then I ran into AllofMP3.com and filled up my 40 gig Creative ZEN in about 4 months. Quality and Quantity, imagine that.
Now that Mac's are being made by Lenovo, it seems they suck as much as any generic PC, but you pay hundreds, even thousands more...I bought a Averatec, small, lightweight, and no problems at all...cost? $600 US. Time for Mac to become another Leading Edge.
I have been no the wrong side of an investigation a couple of times, and mostly because I had done something wrong...I was never ONCE mistreated by the police/cops. Mind you, this was many years ago, but I have had speeding tickets, and a couple accidents (not my fault of course) and not once were they rude, bad, or otherwise. Anytime I have dealt with them, they have been respectful, polite and courteous. Now, I am off to smoke my bong:o) Kidding!!! Really, I appreciate the job they do, and usually with a smile.
