    they are being paid to make sure that the it infrastructure that their company works on works AS the company wants it, and in the fashion company wants it.

    not microsoft.

    no company can accept an outside company dictating it, networking and security procedures within their own network. its actually unbelievable that we're even discussing this.

    and dont talk about shit that you dont know zit about.

    dx10 only brings improvements to minor lighting conditions - like the shorelines, reflection points where water contacts with the non fluid gaming environment, like ponds etc. that's all about that in terms of game experience wise. apart from that what it brings does not interest gamers at all, but people who work in graphics rendering. not to mention that its possible to create the same effects with dx9, as the famous dx10 hack of Crysis shows.

    thats why dx10 hasnt been a selling point for vista, gamers just skipped it by.

    it will probably flop.

    as a self employed developer who runs his own small software shop, i can tell you that such shedules do not work out. there has been many periods in which we worked in cram sessions, overtime for long durations and took days off. doesnt work out. you cant let go of the cumulative stress and wear & tear easily.

    moreover it further imbalances the individual's work rhytm. imagine youre working 9 days, 10 hours a day. and then imagine you are suddenly off for 3 days in the next 3. and then again 9.

    it will be socially awkward too, you will lose step with the society. while people are resting all around the city, you will be working. and then occasionally while all people are working on a friday, you will be resting.

    i assure you the work done while all the world is resting will not be as efficient, and the rest done while all world is working will not feel like a healthy rest.

    if you still havent realized what that was, its bush & co's employment policy. wage a war in a distant land, pump up credit consumption at home, hey - employment !

    the entire world is having to bear the burden, and your country's bankruptcy severely disrupted global economy. bankruptcy, yes. you have SO big a deficit that it boggles the mind. youre running on empty, running on credit and goodwill from other countries you do business with.

    fits into a normal pci e slot, meets atx standards, but you need a shovel to shove it into the case. it leaves not an inch of space left to put anything in.

    its not a problem to implement 52342525113 cores. its a problem to implement in cost, size, and power drain that an acceptably priced gamer pc case can accommodate.

    so far, nvidia is failing in that respect.
