No, but the public they are rescuing from a private burning building do. Or should they be dressed in their best dinner attire, in the event that they may require emergency assistance?
...PETA's tendency to impose pressure on employees to end contact with intentionally non-vegan/non-vegetarian friends and family members...
I live quite close to PETA's world HQ and know several people employed there. I've never seen any evidence of anything like this. I personally am vegetarian, but share mutual non-veg friends with those PETA employees with no issue.
Are you implying that you would suggest a different outcome if the student was still attending the school he is the principal of? If so, why does it matter? Is not this ethical breach the same in either case?
The Samsung Instinct has no hardware keyboard either. The on screen keyboard is horrible. Cramped, slow, I have to use the stylus that is included to type with any sort of reasonable accuracy.
Personally, I've been looking forward to the Pre as a replacement for my Instinct. The Instinct STILL feels unfinished and clunky.
I wish I could argue with this. I have one of the last all mechanical tables (Gottlieb Mustang, made in 1976-77)that's in need of extensive repair... It's going to cost me a ton...
No, he's right. Beta lost to VHS in the consumer market, but it flourished in the pro market (or at least a derivative, Betacam, did). In fact, one of the widely used formats in the pro world today, HDCAM SR, is a decedent (several generations) of Betacam.
I give you the case of Genarlow Wilson. What sane judge and jury would sentence a 17 year old for having consensual oral sex with another minor (a 15 year old)? And let's add to this sanity. The state legislature revises the statue, seeing how unfair it is. It is now a misdemeanor for two minors to have consensual oral sex. Guess who is still sitting there, rotting away in jail? Yep, Genarlow Wilson.
Amerigo Vespucci, in the ongoing investigation of sales that have lead to wide spread piracy, has announced that he has given up all naming rights to the continents that bear his name. This may cause confusion for residents of the most populated country on the newly named continents, as they become accustomed to calling their country by its new name, "The United States of Rand McNally."
No that's why the government should be pointing and laughing at people who have such poor personal habits as to put themselves into such a dangerous state of health.
Right, and then we have people like my girlfriend who has no health insurance, a childhood where her mother neglected her dental health (where she's doing everything she can to undo the neglect, but there's nothing like the public dental clinic, run by the lowest bidder), relies on SSRI antidepressants to function outside the home, and female issues that are beyond her control... Shall I go on?
She is currently in school, working towards a career where she will still most likely have to provide her own insurance, once she progresses beyond entry level.
So, don't give me that all health problems are genetic, because that's a load of crap.
As a side note, I have medical insurance and keep myself in good health. I do not drink alcohol in any form, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs of any kind (other than those prescribed by a doctor), and have been a vegetarian for nearly a decade. Yet, I occasionally have to see the doctor. I don't think I was genetically predisposed to that peritonsillar abscess that I had last year.
Why do I have a sneaking suspicion that if something happened to his daughter (as a direct result of meeting someone on Myspace) you might be one of the ones saying "Why wasn't he monitoring his daughter's online activity?"
Unfortunately you don't have to look to hard to find plenty of examples of sexual predators using social networking sites to find their next victim, and it seems to me to that he's living up to his parental responsibility by monitoring who she is interacting with.
"$3000 is good for home movies, but I wouldn't want to broadcast that the public."
Then you should let those news programs that use Canon (not Sony) GL2s for ENG work. I work regularly with people in ENG, and documentarians, that use the GL2 in their workflow and produce very professional results.
And the comment that $3000 is a bit high was meant to apply to just the camera itself. Of course there is much more involved, just like in any other field, but we are talking about video casting, and not attempting to produce the next primetime hit.
$3K for the camera is still a bit much. If I were looking to do a video cast I'd be looking at the Canon GL2 for $1700 (after a manufacturer's rebate). The porn industry loves them, with good reason. They're small, easy to use, excellent quality, and inexpensive for what you're getting.
For only a bit more than $3000 you could be doing HD with an XH-A1. And I'm willing to bet that there are other manufacturers that make other possible choices, but Canon is what I'm familiar with.
It was Knight Lightning, editor of Phrack Magazine, that had charged with receiving a document retrieved from a Bell South system. The document explained how the enhanced 911 system worked.
Let's rewind to 1997 and see who thought that Ultima Online would still have enough paying customers to make it profitable nearly 10 years later. Some games have an uncanny way of stick around.
You have no expectation of privacy in public

Oh, I can only hope this is true. Complete with a gun range, with Bruce Willis and Daniel Radcliffe's faces on targets down range.
But the ones who have been here for numerous generations, especially the inner city ones, are more often than not a bunch of douchebags.
I'm sure that generations worth of living in poverty has nothing to do with it.
Churches?!?

There is a XLR adapter for the EOS 5D Mark II. It's made by Beachtek.

And part of the encouragement is the ability to make a living from their work by profiting from it?
Wait, telegraphed? I thought we were talking about telephones. I need to know what century we're in before I continue this conversation.
Then your new alter ego sounds delicious.
10 kilograms of water?
Could the estate not grant power of attorney to a third party?

Yep, sanity abounds in the American legal system.

It seems that someone missed the joke.
Who says WoW will even be around in 2009?

Damnit, I replied to the wrong post.
