It's caused by the two-pronged connection between the mains lead and the power adaptor, which isn't earthed properly because of its lack of a third pin.
Sounds like the mains lead where it plugs into the wall has a 3rd pin, but the connection to the power adapter has only two prongs.

It's not his fault he was educated stupid. All he has to do is acknowledge the natural antipodes of +1 x +1 = +1 and -1 x -1 = -1 exist as plus and minus values of opposite creation - depicted by opposite sexes and opposite hemispheres.
If there were an ant standing on the balloon, he'd see the dots getting farther away and he might even feel a tug on his legs. But he wouldn't expand himself. Interatomic forces would keep pulling him back to his original size (unless his feet were glued to the balloon).
The point is that the surface of the ballon IS the universe. If you were an ant standing on the ballon, you'd have to be OUTSIDE the universe and hence, be in a different frame of reference and probably not be affected by whatever stretching forces occur.
Two years ago at University, I had an instructor teaching that C++ functions could only have primitives as return types. He was bit rusty on the latest improvements in compilers and language specifications.
You also didn't have to pay for incoming text messages on any plan, something that no other US carrier does to my knowledge (most European countries have legislation which forces the caller to pay for both sides of the conversation, making incoming calls and SMS free)
You pay for incoming messages... Incoming... did i read that right? As in, your wife just texted you to get some bread on the way home and not only did she pay for the text, but you paid for the "privilege" of being able to recieve it?
You really have to admire how they dance around some of the questions as well as an experienced politican.
So in perspective, while we'd like to have zero calls, we have received 41 calls on the more than 100,000 copies sold.
So.. because only a small number have reported the problem, it means there is no problem!
3) How does SecuROM interact with the Internet?
A: Not at all, if you install a game using a CD or DVD. In that case SecuROM comes with the game on the disc.
If you download a SecuROM-protected game from the Internet, then you have to use your Internet connection to request a license for the desired application. The communication is a simple request and response to a server used for this purpose. No personal information is collected or stored during this or any SecuROM process.
Well then. The answer would be "Yes it does connect to the internet"
8) Is SecuROM harming my computer?
A: No. SecuROM does not damage a computer in any way.
So is that a guarantee that securom will never ever damage my computer ever, even if it had a bug?
19) How do I remove SecuROM from my machine?.... The registry keys described above in FAQ No. 5 above are not removed by the above uninstall process; otherwise, the copy protection function of SecuROM would be completely undermined. The registry keys, which contain license data, remain on your PC and do not affect any of your PC's functions. This is no different than other commercially available software programs that employ a similar use of registry keys.
Well then. It's not actually "removed" is it?
We don't disclose specifically which copy protection or digital rights management system we use --in this case, SecuROM -- because EA typically uses one license agreement for all of its downloadable games, and different EA downloadable games may use different copy protection and digital rights management.
"We don't tell you what DRM we use because different games use different DRM"?? Can someone please explain that in english?
Expand iTunes Plus? I just wish they would expand the basic iTunes system so that countries that actually exist outside the USA can access things like movies and tv shows.

This was mentioned weeks ago on Wendy's Legal Blog ( i have it on RSS feed ), she actually had a talk to the creator of the site. http://wendy.seltzer.org/blog/archives/2008/01/11/mukurtu-contextual-archiving-digital-restrictions-done-right.html
Don't forget to tax every truck driver so we can compensate all those hurt by the smugglers.
IE should just bite the bullet. And have quirks mode OPT-IN, rather than the current default with Standards mode OPT-IN.
Anyone else think of this movie after reading the summary?

Intentional incompatibilities? Have a read of this: http://worsethanfailure.com/Articles/Faulty-by-Design.aspx
I've seen this happen with cold Coke cans straight from the fridge, not sure if it's caused by the same effect though.

To get IMAP to show up you need to change your GMAIL Display language to "English(US)" in the "General" Tab.

In it's defense, the weapon change thing is brilliant. The other day i was playing Doom 3 and kept hitting the shift key...
The IP for System Shock is owned by EA. Unless Take2 buy it they(ie, Irrational) can't do a thing.
