  1. We stand no chance on 2006 Software War Map between FOSS and Microsoft · · Score: 1
You can't win a war when half your gang are balding hippies and the other half are the traitors. Before you know it we'll have people on our side making plugins for MS apps and calling a ceasefire. FOSS people are both crazy and affectionate, but mostly crazy.

So allow me to be the first to say:
    make install -not war

-A while back we were told Taiwan held the world cup for spam (small statue of a devil holding an envelope).

-Now China wants to crack down on spam.

-I see only one way they can do this, or am I terribly mistaken? (P.S Yes I am aware issue is cleared up in summary. Just laugh.)

This is slightly off-topic, but I think (less physical) 3D desktop management can be a lot better. Take Project Looking Glass for example. Did you ever wonder whose ideas MS stole with the Vista Aero thing?

Have you ever tried to compromise a FC5 box with basic server-hardening and all the latest tech enabled? The implementation of comprehensive buffer-overflow protection schemes(stack,GOT protection..etc) has made it almost impossible to root certain boxes.

Now environmentalists everywhere can rest assured that the yearly production of vehicles will not just decrease, but utterly vanish.

Also, many possiblities present themselves. What if someone wrote a virus that made all the aircraft get "Eat shit, Billy G" painted across them in red? I say we should all support this fantastic development.

Life is about to get exponentially better.

A desktop should never try to become like a laptop. It is, in contrast, the laptop's eternal dream to become a desktop..hence the phrase "Desktop Replacement".

Can you imagine a "Laptop Replacement"? All the other desktops would call it a pussy.

I call it the slashdot confessions, and I use it myself frequntly - fantastic results. The worse they do to you is mod you interesting (which is the silliest ranking really - puts you somewhere between funny , informative, and troll).
It's like they consider trolls who are consciously trolling to be some rare, sacred species.
