You would be fine with your neighbor consistently using your wireless network without asking? I would be annoyed. If they asked, I would be okay with it, mostly. If they offered to give a little towards the bill, I'd be great. I can see how someone could argue that I don't use my connection all the time, so what is the harm in allowing others on? I really don't have a good answer. Just that it feels less like I'm giving them something and more like they are taking advantage of me.

BTW, it isn't about the cost to the owner, it is about intent. If you are using the service, why would you not help defray the costs? The service does cost the owner money. Is there a good reason that you would not offer a little compensation? It is like not tipping the waiter. You are not compelled to tip, it is just the right thing to do.

Please, cutting new trend? More like "Leeches find new ways not to pay for things." I see those types of people around the local coffee shop. Most of the time they don't even buy anything. I know a lot of people are going to blame the coffee shop for not securing the network for paying customers only, but human decency is supposed to fill that gap.

A good way to come up with a difficult, but easy to remember password is to use a phrase. You could take the first or last two letters from each word and then add some numbers that you'll remember. You get a moderately strong password and you don't have to write it down. For example, "Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker" becomes YiKiYamofu12358

The way I look at it is, the language is ENGLISH, you know, the language of England, therefore not speaking/writing it the English way equals speaking/writing it the *wrong* way.

Then you deny the thing that makes English great. Language, in some part, defines not only what we can communicate, but what we conceive. If our language is stagnant and unchanging, so shall our ideas be stagnant.

I find your description of the stoplights hard to believe. I'm fairly sure that it is illegal in the States, because of color blindness. Where is this?

Some forms of color blindness only affects one color, like red/green color blindness. you can't tell the difference between red and green. You can refer to this as partial color blindness, because you can still see some colors. You can also have total color blindness, where the world appears monochromatic. I notice that you are using a "u" in color. Perhaps it is an American English vs British English issue?
