Do you have a social hobby? Golfing? Photography? Hiking? Motorsports? Cycling? Maybe you own a type of car that has an owners club (MINI, Volkswagen etc.).
Original comment was obfuscated by the rat that bought the stolen iPhone (Jason Chen) to begin with, and he presumably unstarred me as well. So much for their free speech tact.
They may not have a huge network, but where I'm at it's identical to my old Verizon outfit. In fact, I'd argue that since I'm paying just a little over 50USD for unlimited data, unlimited mobile-to-mobile (regardless of carrier), unlimited text messages and 200% more minutes I'm doing pretty damn good.
As a mostly happy Pre owner, let me be brutally honest: the slider is weak and feels like it could break easily with enough pressure. It's very loose and exhibits was is not-so-fondly referred to as "The Oreo Effect."
The OS can be a bit slow at times, but otherwise I'm extremely happy with it. Having been around a few friends with iPhones I was quite happy to switch between open apps to look something up in Google and then continue what I was working with. Much quicker.
It's a 3.5L V6...what did you expect? The bi-turbo model has a great power-to-mileage ratio. It has the power and torque of a 4-4.5L V8 but the mileage of V6. For reference my 2001 Volkswagen Jetta (Bora, in EUâ"it's the sedan Golf basically) with a naturally aspirated 2.8L VR6 gets 20/24 mpg and has 175HP and about 180 lb.-ft. whereas the The Taurus SHO has.7L more displacement but gets 365HP/350 lb.-feet, at 17/25 mpg. That's very efficient considering the amount of power it's producing.
Quite honestly, the cost of the car versus a comparable BMW 5-series is actually really great. According to a few reviews I've read the SHO handles quite well for it's size and weight, with lots of great gadgets.
I'll admit those are still ugly numbers though, anything south of 30/35 for a daily driver is awful, particularly for a sedan.
But the government loves you, and wants you to be happy. Why do you hate the government? Maybe you should go through a program to rehabilitate you. If you hate the government and it's policies then you obviously hate other races and such.

Therein lies the problem. This is exactly why thought-crime is such a dangerous notion.
If you share large portions of your host drive with the virtual machine, and then you infect the virtual machine, and that infection just goes around maliciously fucking up all your files-including those in shares-then yes, a Windows virus/malware infection is going to make your system barf.
It's still inconvenient for the Chinese government that this not be seen by the public? Although not easy to pull off, perhaps there should be some plans to bring this issue up world wide when it's not around the anniversary. Catch the Chinese authorities off-guard.
Dark Helmet: Careful you idiot! I said across her nose, not up it! Laser Gunner: Sorry sir! I'm doing my best! Dark Helmet: Who made that man a gunner? Major Asshole: I did sir. He's my cousin. Dark Helmet: Who is he? Colonel Sandurz: He's an asshole sir. Dark Helmet: I know that! What's his name? Colonel Sandurz: That is his name sir. Asshole, Major Asshole! Dark Helmet: And his cousin? Colonel Sandurz: He's an asshole too sir. Gunner's mate First Class Philip Asshole! Dark Helmet: How many asholes do we have on this ship, anyway? [Entire bridge crew stands up and raises a hand] Entire Bridge Crew: Yo! Dark Helmet: I knew it. I'm surrounded by assholes! [Dark Helmet pulls his face shield down] Dark Helmet: Keep firing, assholes!
That is not always true, and you're just repeating propaganda you've heard about "conservatives."
I may not be conservative myself but I know a few intelligent conservatives (not neo-cons!) who do not equate marxism, communism and socialism and can tell the difference. They simply oppose socialism on their understanding that it's "less efficient."
I honestly don't know what I believe anymore but you can't paint everyone the same.
I know you're just whoring for karma but I thought I'd point out that it was the NSA that was doing the wiretapping. In addition, we should be applauding the fact that this needs court approval and that they seek that out prior to use.
I know it's fashionable to hate on Federal law enforcement-and believe me I have plenty of grievances with the way things are done too-but I think you and lot of other folks have the same reactionary emotional response to the Feds that those who think they can do no wrong do, just in reverse.
Then wait a week and buy it like everyone else. I can sort of maybe understand "sticking it to the man" when it comes to DRM but infringing copyright just because they didn't release it when you wanted is a bullshit cop-out.
I buy all my music (I like mostly indie, non-big-label stuff), movies, games and other forms of entertainment. I also voted with my dollar for a very long time and never bought music online music when it was DRM'd, nor did I download it. I avoided CDs on RIAA labels. I told them with my dollar that if they were going to be asshats I didn't want anything from them, even if I downloaded it for free.
You should be applauding Stardock and buying their game for not using the same heavy-handed techniques that the rest of the corrupt industry uses, instead of coming up with very thin excuses for all the lazy, cheap morons that are torrenting it instead of buying it.
The problem with reductionism and Occam's Razor is that you're trying to remove the part that makes people guilty while simultaneously adding the excuse that it's just people who wanted it before the release date, so all's well.
It's very saddening that people who are trying to use the internet to do their business, are doing so without imposing artificial restrictions like DRM and are not "suing their fans" are still getting this "gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme now now now now" attitude. It's entitlement taken way to fucking.

There's a local group for just about anything.
Indeed. Case in point:

I only hang around Jalopnik now.
Rush Limbaugh isn't dead goddammit!
Don't get me excited like that.
You should check out the Blender 2.5 Alpha, some pretty awesome stuff going in there in terms of making things not so...cryptic.
If you want a multi-track recording suite, check out Ardour.

You may wish to check for some replacement firmware from DD-WRT before buying new hardware. I've used DD-WRT for years and love it!

Isn't there something about goats, yoda dolls and grits for this?

Cocaine and pot...I think our last president was totally into that as well, if I recall.

Don't worry about Lamarr, she's been debeaked and is completely harmless!

I see your Golf TDI and raise you a Bluemotion Polo.
I don't align with feminists very often but there's a reason why they insist that in some cultures marriage is just a license to rape.

For some things I go to B&H Photo/Video, another great online outfit (with 1 brick and mortar store in NY).
But yeah, Newegg FTW.
Some security updates can break poorly written "Enterprise" software. The kind that PHBs love.
If they hadn't been fully tested with all the "Enterprise" software then he'd be utterly screwed if there were any problems.
