You also forgot to point out that he said that Sony doesn't make regular MP3 players too, making his entire argument invalid. Current generation Walkmans, anyone?
But you can also play in offline mode.
(And I don't want to hear anything about offline mode not working, I've only had one problem with it in four years)
My online hosting service gives us 300gb of space and 300gb of transfer a month, and we're paying like $7.95/mo. This is for web-hosting, mind you. They provide FTP, WebDAV, and SSH (therefore sftp) so I don't see why, other than assured data redundancy, I wouldn't pay less for more.
Now, I use Vista Media Center (I know, I know, and it's not the point of this post) for watching TV on my Hauppage NTSC/ATSC dual-tuner, so I don't have to worry about losing my guide data for that.
However, I use Zap2It's data for other purposes. Namely, I have an e-mail bot written so where if you send it a message (in my case, usually a text message) with the channel number and a time, it will tell you which show is on. Some times when I'm out and don't have access to a TV guide (like out at dinner) and I want to know when a show is on, I can guess a few random times. Unfortunately, with the loss of Zap2It's data, XMLTV is rather useless for me and I'll either be unable to use my tool or have to find a new data source.
Considering that HTTPS is supposed to be secure at its endpoints, they shouldn't be able to inject anything into the HTML. If they're somehow catching you in the middle, the security certificate wouldn't be the one issued to the bank.
That's funny, the legal copy I got from Microsoft is in a thin jewel case, no box, and is a burned DVD with "Vista Vista RTM x86" written in Sharpie!
My valid key is even written in pen on the little paper cutout insert.
I think it was downloaded with this cool program called Microsoft File Transfer Manager.
Well I'm not really a Warcraft fan. I like WoW but I don't find it important enough to pay a monthly fee for (don't want to go into why, I know exactly why they do it) but I think Starcraft is much better.
"World" of Starcraft? Please, Starcraft spans multiple planets. Worlds of Starcraft, maybe, but that interferes with their title for World of Warcraft, so maybe Starcraft Universe or something cool like that.

You're right, I believe this is pre-Vista-release old. I was wondering when I read the topic, but I saw 'VM' in the summary and then went 'oh. Knew that.'

Why even upgrade, if they have to use such old software? Surely it won't run much faster on newer machines?
Using other posts on real bribing as a basis, I'd guess he tried giving them too much and they wouldn't take it!
Tell that to the RIAA and MPAA.

Well, if the hard drive was under warranty..!
Unfortunately going to hotmail.com moves you to login.live.com and then back.

sudo ln -s /bin/umount /bin/unmount
- Fixed.
Um, I'm pretty sure US Robotics is a real company..
Skype does exist for the PocketPC, which includes the ARM architecture.

ALT-0233. I know it from writing the word Pokémon so many times, unfortunately.
Why would anyone in their right mind use Verizon in the first place? Yet here we are, one of the largest subscriber networks in the US.
If there are no LEDs how am I supposed to know it works?
An accurate title or summary? Where do you think we are, Slashdot?

It's not a black art, you have to license the SDK from Microsoft to develop filesystems.
Actually, he got second post, so he must be on dialup.
