How about an Kalashnikov or H&K MP5 that has been set to semi auto and ammo limited? No? Why not since I can buy the same gun that was used in the Montreal Massacre? How come that wasn't banned? Oh right it doesn't look evil. Stupid hypocritical laws
Seriously this because if they didn't how often do you think it would happen that people would buy a tool, use it once, clean it up and bring it back. It is in their best interest to loan tools
I read at one point that the reason cats are independent is not because they choose to, because they are not intelligent enough to form packs. I figure that is a stretch but I wish I could find that paper
Mon, wed Fri: Ghost Backup of OS and C: drive to a separate drive Tue, Thu: filecopy of all required files (Pics, mp3s, important data to same separate drive Daily scheduled task that runs and will mirror said separate drive to another drive that is mounted as Y:. This drive is stored at work and is fully encrypted using truecrypt. Usually bring it home on Mondays but if I forget, it will automatically run any other day
Basically here is what I do: Incremental ghost of the OS to a separate drive 3 times a week with a full on Sunday, on the alternate days it does a file based backup of require data to same backup hard drive of everything that has changed. No deletion of filebased backup but Ghost gets overwritten weekly Monday I bring home a portable hard drive using truecrypt from work and hook it up. Over night it does a mirror of the backup drive which gets brought back to work on Tuesday.
Even easier is download the K-lite codecs. It gives you all of the linked above and no registry-fu needed. On a side note, I too have a Synology NAS (411J) and what do you think of the new gui? I love it but was still surprised that they didn't include DNS as a supported package, I know that someone repackaged DNSMasq but I would prefer to have it from the company.
That's a strawman argument. You do the same thing in Chrome in Windows 8 (oh my god you can run it on 8?). For IE if you want to go back with the mouth. You click on the window and drag to the left. I am not exactly a fan of Metro but I see its merits.
I think the argument could be said that the heroes on the day (police, firemen, etc) was the fact that they laid their lives down for their jobs to help others. However people forget that if they basically said "F that, I am not going in those buildings" they would have been charged as they fall under the first responder laws. Sad thing is I really doubt the loss of lives of the rescue personnel was less than the ones rescued.
key issue is the US uses "violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes" against governments. That's called foreign policy, when you do it against civilians, that's called terrorism.
How many dozens of 9/11's happen each year as a result of smoking and alcohol? Careful you are treading on personal liberties (this comes to you on behalf of the alcohol and tobacco lobbies)
Actually about 5 or so years ago someone did an experiment to see if they had hit nose on instead if it would have stayed up. Unfortunately it would have still sunk. They also did a test to see if they had let the water flow through the bottom of the ship rather than sealing up would it have sunk slower and more upright. That ended up sinking it faster by an estimated hour and the last of it would have been really fast.
You're also forgetting that if the source material is interesting enough after 5 minutes you don't notice the difference between a 400M avi file and a 1080p blu-ray. If you do then either you are intentionally looking for differences thus keeping you from being absorbed or whatever you are watching is not that interesting.
Wording is what society makes it. Sorry hacking is now associated as much with the latter definition as the former and posting that is not going to change anything.
If they are really serious just make it mandatory to back into a parking spot. Lot cheaper for the driver and more money for the local by-law if they catch you not doing it.
One word: Bookmarks. That was enough to turn me off. Also I found video support was a bit less forgiving than my XBMC box. Granted the price is good and for my dad who isn't using networking it works well but too many clicks for my taste
Two guys I work with have Boxee and looked at this. It appears that it doesn't take into account the latest update which addresses a lot. I personally have two homebuilt XBMC boxes but if I want another I may just do Boxee.
No , Canada not at all. Except for that stupid bill that has been pulled back for modification after the upswell of people freaking out about it. Unfortunately it will probably come back the same (if not worse) but with bigger loopholes that aren't as evident.
That would be me. I had no real interest in getting a tablet but when they heavily discounted it, I figured it would be worth getting. It was at the price I paid but at $500 it is a heaping pile and at any other price I would recommend an Android over the playbook.

Money
Otherwise why are we truly there?

I buy the gift cards when doing anything regarding the xbox

Or even better... use Kinect. Nothing has been mentioned really about it but you can't tell me that Microsoft isn't thinking about this.

Personally I use MakeMkv and then ffmpeg to compress. Nice thing is both are available on Windows and Linux

XBMC has a check box that lets you change the source framerate. With that checked, the main menu is running at 60hz but TV shows flips to 24hz,
Why? Boxee is based off of XBMC. If you are not using their Box, you are better off using XBMC, Boxee is always playing catchup.

That levy is for private Music copying only. It does not in any way, shape, or form, legitimize piracy.
Fixed that for you
