What if you aren't actually uploading a clip of a video, but instead a clip in which the video in question is running on say, a TV in the background of the clip?
I would just like Linux support for the Theater 550 series of chips. For the money, they are definitely the best cheap non-HD tuner out there. They trounce any cheapo Hauppauge card out there (sorry, can't deal with the extreme blurriness), and it's the only thing barring me from trying MythTV.
I found the easiest solution is to set up an old win98 computer and let them install all the spyware crap they want onto it
One word: VMware.
At least then they can see in the background what you will really be running as soon as they walk out of the room (with their install CD/life-preserver).
Although I can't speak on the downloadable trial software, I can tell you there is a perfectly legitimate reason for the pre-installed 60-day trial Office System 2007 software.
Basically, most people (home users who are not small business/corporate) will buy a Windows box from a vendor without Office in an attempt to save some cash, but will end up running out to Best Buy, etc. to buy a retail copy of Office at some point (because unless they know about OpenOffice.org, etc. they are going to be forced to at some point).
By pre-installing the Office System 2007 60-day trial, the customer now has the option to purchase whatever level of Office 2007 fits their needs (Basic, Small Business, Professional) and can get the key over the web (via the 60-day trial software) with little hassle. No running out to the store, and it is probably overall a bit cheaper process as well.
Of course, pre-installing OpenOffice.org would be even cheaper option, but that's an argument for another day!
Mary Wilson, who with Diana Ross and Florence Ballard formed the original Supremes, said the exemption was unfair and forced older musicians to continue touring to pay their bills.
In defense of Diana Ross, she definitely needs all the money she can get to pay for her liquor. Plus she wants everyone's handicap spaces too. I just hope someone else is driving if she is forced to go on tour!
