ADD: ME for the PC will have much better inventory management. I bet the weapon and power wheels will be tweaked as well. It would be interesting if the excruciating load times (elevator rides) are inflicted on the PC gamer. I like to think that those were a limitation of the console and not Bioware's design. I think the parent's parent post was pointing out that there are chronic PC gamers with superior hardware and they have advantage in a multiplayer world. Granted, their gleaming Creative Labs x-fi drivers cause crash-to-desktops and the architecture of the latest nVidia cards combined with a new Vista release was a headache. But then again, they have dx10.

I think that Adobe Flex should be considered for the same reasons Silverfish...er...Silverlight is and it is more open. I don't think the DLR is innovative, but a reaction (a positive one, to be fair) to languages like PHP, Python and Ruby. It's interesting to see that after all the bloviating about being CLS-compliant and the power and superiority of the CLR and strongly-typed ".NET" languages that they can see room for another point of view.

Yeah, but Fox will air episode 3 first and we'll have absolutely no clue what the show is about. I'll wait for the complete season on DVD which will have ~13 episodes 4 of which were never aired. Then I'll see the Paramount motion picture in which the entire cast dies when the Serenity crash lands into the dorm (of course the Serenity's time-travel guest appearance is the result of a sling-shot around the Sun or a black hole or whatever happens to be convenient in the 'verse).

  25. Re:A trilogy on BioWare Hopes To Finish Mass Effect Series On 360 · · Score: 1

I think it has been. My take is that Bioware is moving towards having more original "properties" that they have control over. They are also developing Dragon Age with a completely new rule set and settings. With ME, my understanding is that there will be updates issued between full games. In addition they are expanding to other media with at least novels, a la Halo. It'll be work to get them out in that time. This version is a little late. I pre-ordered late 2006 for Jan 2007. Disappointed, but I'd rather have it right than bugged.
