    Thats just Rand McNally. They were originally planning on mapping the area, but apparently the strange phenomenon that causes people to wear hats on their feet and hamburgers to eat people, also causes it to be unmappable by the equipment they were using.

    Really? No problems for me on my LLU ISP. Maybe you should consider one of those instead. Most exchanges are LLU these days, unless it is you really have no excuse to still be with BT's overpriced and underserviced offering. One example of this, on my LLU ISP when it was first activated it was only at 1meg down 256 up, I should have been on their max offering with 2.2ish down and 768 up. Were I with a BT ISP this would have probably taken a fault report to BT to get them to fix their DSLAM, but with this ISP it was done in 5 mins, no hassle. It was a freephone number too. BT are a fail, if you continue to give them money (even on an ISP that uses their network) you are asking for trouble.

    At that point ill be sitting happy on my linux system, not buying anything that has anything like this built in.

    You also have to remember that no matter how many developers you have working on these copy protection methods, there are always going to be more people that will be working against it. And the more stringent (updoc) you try to make the DRM, the more poeple are going to be annoyed by it.

    In the old saying

    Yeeeeah homeslice, Theres a difference between putting marines on every ship going through a relatively narrow stretch of sea, and putting a cop in every one of the 241,000,000 [registered, in 2005] cars in the united states.

    Also, I didnt know that swashbuckling pirates taking people hostage were that much of a problem on americas road network.
