Or, if you have one of those o-so-fun dialup connections, you can order it on a cd from File Planet for $10 (along with whatever else you can cram on one cd). I think you can get the CD free from the US Army, but be prepared for years of Army spam!
In the interest of multiple opinions, I like Automachron. It's a lot smaller than NetTime (130KB vs. 2MB) and is also unobtrusive. You can make it invisible or stick it in your system tray.
Use an air compressor on your computer if you want a fine mist of water sprayed over all your expensive electronics. Air compressors have drain plugs for a reason!
Your much better off just buying cans of "compressed air" (it's actually not air per se).
BTW, I was refering to the cases with the cardboard front with the plastic snap on the right side. I think even the Harry Potter (Warner Bros.) case feels pretty cheap compared to Moulin Rouge (Fox).
Q: Do you ship internationally? A: Netflix currently does not rent DVDs outside of the United States with the exception of Puerto Rico, FPO and APO addresses.
Don't you need an [enter] in there after [2]? Entering your line in my HP 32SII would result in "23" and my HP 48GX would complain.

They used to send 2 disc sets together, but I am guessing the shipping was expensive and most people don't care for the second disc. I know I dont.
Just to clarify, I was refering to instances when the actual movie was on two disks, not just the special features. If you want the see the end of Godfather II, you need the second disc. I'm not going to jump up and down complaining to Netflix though, since very few movies do this.

I've been using Netflix for about 6 months and been pretty satisfied. My average cost per movie is about $2.29 (under the $19.95/month plan). That's not too bad, considering I live in semi-rural Alaska (shipping each way is usually about 3 days).
I don't care for them splitting up two disk sets though. If a movie comes on two disks (such as The Godfather, Part II), you have to rent each one seperatly.
I'm sure every expedition to one of the poles didn't give a hoot about chasing some point that will make their compass do wacked out things. They go to the geographical pole.
Your problem is non-existent for me. I just tried both IE 6 and Mozilla RC3 under Win2k and both remembered my login settings just fine under all sections (and all I did was log into the main Slashdot page once).
Once again, I think it's a configuration problem on your end. If most people were having this problem, I'm sure it'd show up in the comments with more frequency.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think you've got it reversed. Chieftec is the original manufacturer. This same case design is also sold under some other badges too (can't think of the names right now...). Also, I got my Chieftec case at Newegg for considerably cheaper than the Antec version.
Huh? Slashdot always remembers my login cookie. What difference does the URL make? Sheesh. I'd say your browser/proxy configuration is messed up.
If you want a quick way of getting back to the main page, just click that huge "slashdot" logo at the top of every page (or just use the "back" function of your browser).
Growing up, we usually had anywhere from 10 to 50 chickens. If one chicken lost a few of it's feathers and the skin became exposed, the other chickens would usually begin pecking the poor bird with the missing feathers. We had one chicken that had it's brain exposed from this pecking. (There's a product you can smear on the wound to keep the other chickens from doing this.)
Has this geneticist put any of these featherless chickens together?

Or better yet...
You are in more dire need of a blowjob than any white man in history.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I doubt DVD players can set their clock to a PBS station since they don't usually have a TV tuner.

Here's a screenshot of it running on my system.

Huh, I didn't notice the period bit. I wasn't able to recreate the problem. Maybe you live inside a slashdot vortex or something...?
Be sure to include the "http://" for the link to work properly. It should look like this:

My apologies if you already knew this and just forgot...
I beg to differ, since at least one mod found it funny. Not everyone's sense of humor is identical to yours.
Heh, whatever floats your boat I guess.

Actually, I'd love to see Warner Bros. use real (all plastic) DVD cases instead of that cheap cardboard shit.

Bah, I'm not subscribing to use a dictionary. Why does everything require a stupid account these days?
For pity's sake, the word is spelled "centimetres"
Really?
Apparantly, it is a problem. Read the FAQ. If you still want to complain, email Taco or something.
