I have a personal relationship with a web hosting company and they could never offer the suite of tools and ease of use that Google and Yahoo offer. They just dont have the staff resources. Yahoo and Google's content sharing, calendars, mail and etc are the best on the net.
The only problem with the online solution is privacy, ad content, and the lack of local copy.
Does every aspect of our lives have to be approved by Al Gore and the Crying Indian? Is it worth it to "green" game consoles based on hours of usage and saturation in the population? Let's focus on the those things that are used daily, by everyone, internationally such as transportation; heating, cooling and lighting; cellphones; and habitual waste products.
It also has Wi-fi and can browse the internet....The main problem with the e-book nature is in the licensing. Most ebook DRM protocols are Windows based or proprietary.
but typically when a hardware vendor includes a licensed OS, the cost is a lower than the retail, no upgrade path. $200 for XP is the retail, non upgrade price in the US. Seems like the award/refund is too high.

Google provides jobs and privileged luxury such as supplemented healthcare - an important issue to Americans. Google cannot provide these economic opportunities and privileged luxuries to Americans if it cannot generate revenue from other countries.
I think this kind of punishment is unconstitutional as it prevents equal opportunity. People can be banned from doing the wrong thing, but forcing them to hurt themselves is barbaric.
We have to pragmatic here. If our companies don't do as foreign countries ask all that will happen is they will block US internet companies. That's removing 3-5 billion potential consumers.
This is disastrous and will only make the economy worse.
Similarities in plot/storyline are not the same as using actual characters, names, and places. Rowling has a point and and profit from the encyclopedia are hers.

Open Office only exists because MS Office was created and people are to cheap to pay for it. Linux exits only because Unix exits and people are too cheap to pay for it. Without the progress of MS apps we would still be using that same apps that we were using in the early 90s.
While he is off by saying software will never be improved, he right that progress would be drastically slower.
And there is nothing wrong with wanting to get paid for your efforts. That's not greed. I doubt any of us go to work for free.

If the blacked-out content is not important, then the criticism of the FBI may be unfounded.
