    A few very simple things to ask it:

    • play music you purchased via your Amazon account
    • the current time
    • set timers/alarms
    • general-information questions that wikipedia would have the answer to
    • current weather/traffic in your area (?)

    Not that impressive, but you can think of it as a $50 voice-controlled alarm clock/timer/stereo which may add new features in the future. I consider it an inexpensive one-time purchase that buys me continuous (for now) access to something of a potluck of Amazon's continuously updated cloud services.

    Since these gift cards have to be printed out individually anyway, couldn't they be produced using uuidgen (or the like)? Seems like a single algorithm would solve the problem for all retailers at once.

    With tomato sauce you need to add a bit of xanthan gum to avoid having bubbles that are so sharp you cut your mouth when you eat the bread.

    That has got to be one of the most metal bread recipes I've ever heard of.

    Those corporate fat-cat taxi drivers, always trying to screw the little guy! Seriously, maybe I'm ok with it as long as the driver is getting the extra money. If the driver gets a small bonus and the rest goes to Uber, well, maybe a little less sympathy.
