That's not exactly the point. No-one's forcing you to use AI-abusive tactics... I'm not trying to explain how to defeat the computer, but rather how to sufficiently challenge yourself if no-one in town is up to the task:-/
Handicap yourself to a 5 or 6 vs Lvl 9 Falco/Ganondorf team (no items of course) if 2v2 is too easy otherwise. Also, we don't know how good the AI is going to be for computer opponents at max level to begin with... although I doubt it will be much stronger than the Lvl 9's in SSBM.
However, if you run an apple, the decisions Jobs makes will matter to you Oh man for like a whole minute I was thinking... is Jobs some fruit guru who knows everything about apples?? And what does it mean to "run an apple" would it be like running *with* an apple, hiking and taking one with you so it can be a convenient snack later in the day? And then I realized, "...ohhhh Apple COMPUTER!"
The worst part is, it's not like I read that phrase in isolation. I read the previous sentence, too. And a lot of sentences before it as well. And, you know, Slashdot in general.;_;

Well PS is kinda overkill for 128x128 icons. I'm not even sure you can save in.ico format out of the box with PS or not...
If you are dealing with such small files (unusual for a PS user) then like I said you can go ahead and set the number of steps it saves in its history to much higher than default. Automatic adjustment like that is not really a feature that PS users have asked for, though, and that's why you don't see it. I'm not really sure I'd want it, either.
PS users frequently work with images that take up many megabytes, and if there weren't a default 20 or whatever undo steps then out of the box PS would be maxing out the amount of memory you let it work with nearly every time. Anyway this is all very easily configurable, and if you're actually serious about using a tool like PS, you're going to be doing some configuration and personalization to it anyhow.
Because if plane tickets were more expensive than the shinkansen then the airlines would be totally screwed on domestic travel. Even a regular JR line's not all that bad if you don't have to go across the entire country. If you need to get from Tokyo to Kagoshima, sure.. well soon enough I think even that might change.
I'll tell you, though, the wireless ban is BULL if it's for safety. I mean really, if they were at all unsure about how "safe" consumer wireless devices are, they wouldn't even let you take them on board. Airlines don't take chances when one screwup costs them insane amounts of money and PR.
In Japan you're not supposed to talk on a cell phone while on a train, and need it in manner mode. It's a way to promote courtesy. I don't see how this is all that much different, even if under the guise of "safety."
You're probably just joking around, but really with all these players (Creative, Apple, MS) as long as your music doesn't have copy protection on it to begin with it will play on any of these players just fine, no questions asked. So just don't load up on DRMed music to begin with, and then you won't have to worry about whether these players support DRMed tracks or not (that is, whether they honor the DRM restrictions or not).
What Islam exposes the most are all the Fallacies Come on man, kids read Slashdot too! We don't need any talk about exposing peckers here, there's enough on Youtube.
You shouldn't be jumping around under fire with a gun, anyway. You're just too used to low-grav physics in games, where you get 2 full seconds of air time a la Master Chief; I'm happy with no jumping in a game that's supposed to be more realistic (at least in some ways).
That reminds me, can U.S. DSs run Japanese DS games? Not that I was even able to *find* Revenant Wings in any store but assuming I did...
And yeah I second what you said about the DS being all over the place. On more than one occasion I saw groups of 4 girls sitting around on the sidewalk with their blue and pink and white DS Lites. Overall I think I saw more females playing DS than males, actually.
So updates to Office fail because a newly added product (Visio) isn't yet activated... seems to me that in this case the only update failure that would be understandable is one related to the added product (Visio). Other activated pieces of software should be able to receive updates without problems. Furthermore, if Visio fails validation and the response from Microsoft is to send the user to a page that suggest he purchase Office then that is just plain incorrect. It should send him to a page that says "activate Visio, dude!"
So, yeah, this isn't really Microsoft bashing. Though it maybe should be worded a bit more clearly so the problem is made apparent.
Wrong. Power without ethics is power without ethics. It may become despotism or a number of things, but it is NOT terrorism and to define terrorism in such broad (besides inaccurate) terms is to make terrorism seem less heinous and more common than it is. It also makes me question whether you are trying to get some political agenda across with such statements. There exist [many] unethical leaders who are not terrorists.
I was going by countries. But even if you take all of Europe into account, the size of its market is similar but smaller than the US (look up proper numbers if you don't believe me, though if you have the right settings you can just look at this report: http://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/data/pdf/fy2005b.pdf). Asia as a whole is an entirely different ball game, as Korea and China's console markets aren't exactly huge. They are utterly dwarfed by the PC market, and are crippled by piracy. Things are improving, but not at the rate that makes them major players yet by any stretch.
Anyway please ACTUALLY know what you're talking about if you reply. Because even if you interpret markets as Asia vs Europe vs North America, you're still wrong and I'm still right.
Wow okay so you have friends who have played enough that they can beat Halo 3 in 4.5 hours (actually Halo 3 I found is best played on the high difficulty levels since they made enemies total pushovers on the normal/easy ones...). Whooptee doo hell I can beat Ninja Gaiden for Xbox in 5 hours on anything below Hard as if that means the game doesn't have enough content.
Halo's multiplayer has set new standards for console FPS games. As for the "hype" being centered in by far the largest market for video games in the world, I fail to see how that is a shortcoming of the game or how it reflects on anything. Cups with a Halo logo is an even sillier thing to say and completely contradicts what you said earlier (not that you'd know), as the one big market that Halo isn't popular in is Japan, and if Japanese kids are fans of something you can be damn sure they'll be happy to have the corresponding character goods, whether it be a cup or a business card case or a ton of phone straps or whatever. Not that it's a bad thing, either.
Man they have a lunch box out there for Batman, too. You gonna rag on Batman for it?
Seriously if you could find more irrelevant and nonsensical arguments for why Halo is overrated please write them here because I'm always up for a laugh.
From personal experience I can assure you that playing MP3s is most definitely part of the Zune's functionality. Unfortunately so is bricking hard drives completely during failed firmware upgrades, to the point that the recovery console is powerless to help. Yay Zune.
Well... I am perhaps a bit more cynical than you ^_^ You see, I immigrated from the USSR many years ago, and I must say that the USSR's "Constitution" (yes there was one) was every big as good as the US's. Bloody lot of good that did anyone, though.
Upon further thought, however, I do think that approaching this from the "legal" standpoint and trying to nail the administration/whoever using the Constitution and other legal documents is the surest method of being successful, regardless of whether it's an open-and-shut case or not.
On a side note, I would generally not have a problem letting an efficient, decisive, and effective administration go about their business even if they have to wrongfully detain some people along the way (maybe I'm just not idealistic enough). I also am not sure whether trying to keep any administration "on a leash," so to speak, would prevent future ones from running amok. But there is much to be said for setting precedent, and with that in mind the current administration (seemingly running amok, at least in the eyes of so many) could stand to be reigned in some.
If your hands are sweaty it means you're stressed? Wow how about it means you've been holding a controller for a while, or it's really warm where you're at, or you generally sweat easy (not a bad thing afaik) and your palms get sweaty when you're holding something? (this will probably be 'redundant' because I'm sure a bunch of folks have typed this same thing faster than me ^_^)
This is almost like saying if you have an elevated heart rate it means you're frightened.
The folks that made this device are playing their clients/customers for chumps.
Wow your stereotypical male engineer is apparently a buff stud too stupid to use the elevator. That's like some hardcore confusion right there:-) You're thinking of jocks and football players who major in hotel management and comparative studies.
Real male engineers are buff studs smart enough to use elevators.

Oh well if the feedback IS clear on what the issue is, and if he's trying to update Visio before activating it, then yeah he's just being a noob
It's kind of on par for the WORLD buddy. If you can find some genius-run utopia to move to, power to ya, but it doesn't exist.

Why not just buy the "natural" (compressed poop) color Zune and a bottle of white-out?
From personal experience I can assure you that playing MP3s is most definitely part of the Zune's functionality. Unfortunately so is bricking hard drives completely during failed firmware upgrades, to the point that the recovery console is powerless to help. Yay Zune.

Diabolical. You even used one less word than you announced.
