I have seen that too. The problem seems to be that MS designed Vista for home users and even home users don't like it. When will they learn and design a system for business users? That is where the money is after all.
Hmm, I work at an enormous company and IT upgraded me to a nice laptop with Vista and full disk encryption. So, now I run Puppy Linux off a CDROM and store my data on one of the servers. Since the HDD is encrypted I cannot use it at all. Fighting Windows just isn't worth it. Since my data is on a server, it gets backed up, so this is more secure and much faster.
The USA alone plants more than 4 million trees *per day* - billions of trees per year. The US forest area has increased over the last several decades. How many trees are Europe planting?
Hmm, well, the whole purpose of the GPL is to discourage leeches and encourage co-operation. Nobody forced Tivo et al to mooch off GPL code. They are free to either re-invent it all, or to become honest players.
He who keeps taking our ball and goes home with it, has to play alone or bring the ball back...
This is obviously a hoax. The sea isn't even that deep in its deepest spots and there is no way that usable light will get down there and back up again and still yield a remotely usable image through all the turbulence and suspended muck.
I think that first of all you need to decide whether the house going to be mono hull or double hull. A double hull is more stable in large swells and you can make a nice open living room on the bridge.
Agreed, install Windows in VMware or Qemu on Linux and always copy the image file from backup before starting the virtual machine. That way you have a fresh system every time.

Yup, I tried the nice rotating windows on Linux and after about 10 seconds went back to normal. Microsoft wasted their time copying that...

Ubuntu is "New and Shiny". Windows is "Old and Clunky and Plagued with Viruses".

Noah's Ark Found! Noah's Ark!
So what you are saying is that RCS was done right and everything done since is wrong...

"...could lead to great difficulty making sex with most women." - and how would you know? ;)

I think the buttons in the VMware management utility are big enough. A virtual machine on Linux is the only sane way to run Windows.
I always wondered how Jerry Hall reacted when Mick wrote the song "I'm so hot and she's so cold..."
Hmm, even minus 20F is fairly tropical, almost T-shirt weather where I live.
"...power the dark side." ...so that is what Darth Vader was talking about...
...and if you concentrate the sunlight 1000 times, then the thing will melt...
I don't have any problem sensing cold temperatures. When your eyelashes and nostrils freeze shut when you blink or breathe, it is fairly obvious...
I guess that eventually they'll just fire up a whole 300mm wafer. It'll be cookin...
If you know which sites are 'bad', simply add them to the hosts file and loop them to the home address. No need for a plugin.
"I could hear the lyrics clearly in a few places"
;)
Hmm, I guess that is only because you don't have low skin effect monster cables on your earbuds...
Anyhoo, if you can hear a difference, then you haven't gone to enough heavy metal shows.
Both kinds of music were missing: They had neither Country nor Western music in the test.
What is America coming to?
That is probably what timestomp is - a bash script.
Well, alternatively one could just use Windows ME on a FAT file system. That screws things up all by itself - no need for fancy tools.
the modification date was'ntobe set the last time it shallhasbeen accessed...
Uhh - got to work on my future imperfect past continuous tense.
Hmm, to stay legal, someone will have to pull the plug on Germany.
