    Can you cite this? In fact, can you cite where the republican party (let's say the past 10 years) said that gays should be in prison?

    And I don't mean a one off republican. I can find pretty of crazy democrats to quote. I am asking where the party position was anything close to what you slandered.

    Just curious, if you refuse the modified EULA, does the game get deactivated and your account credited?

    I really don't know any Creationist that thinks the universe is 6000 years old. If it helps you keep your view of us low, you can rationalize it as we can't do the math required to get to that number.

    You can blame both Republicans and Dems for the shit state of affairs with the ACA and American healthcare. The ACA plan was created by the Heritage Foundation and Republicans as a way to have a sort-of/kind-of universal healthcare while also preserving all that capitalism/free-market horsehit

    And the republicans were smart enough to realize it was crap and did not pass it when they controlled all three branches.

    Sorry, but the blame lies solely with the democrats on this one.

    Or probably closer to the truth, you think that you are a moderate but are really a leftist. That would make anyone to the right look extreme to you. Most people, including myself, see themselves as center moderates regardless of what they actually are.

    None of the schools my daughter went to had any where near that many kids per class. I think the largest class has 20 kids in it.

    And I'm not saying that teachers don't have it tough. But teachers and schools are quick to take credit for kids doing well and quick to lay the blame at the parents for kids that fail.

    While I agree with most of your points, I will add the problem is also the teachers and the schools.

    The teachers make it as difficult as possible for working parents to communicate with them or be involved with their kid's school work. My daughter has been to 4 public schools and the only way we are able to get information from the school is to continue to hound the school.

    At the school my kid is at now, my daughter's grade in math went from a 84 to a 33. When I asked my daughter to see her work, she said it was on on the school's computer. When I emailed the teacher (they don't answer the phone), she told me that parents are not able to help since all the work is done at the school on the computers and the next day my daughter's score changed to a 100.

    The Church also forbids sex outside of marriage. If people chose not to follow the no sex rule, then why do you think Church rules would prevent someone from using a condom?

    Maybe you mean husbands giving their faithful wives aids? If the man isn't using a condom with prostitutes, do you really think he would use one with his wife?

    I've seen companies buy replacement hardware and stock it on a shelf so they have parts in case the 15-year-old unsupported system has a hardware failure. I've seen companies install Windows 3.1 boxes on frankenstien boxen just to get an old scanner to work (in 2007!). I've seen companies refuse to buy new machines because a required interface has been removed (hello serial ports).

    But have you ever seen an elephant fly?

    At work, when one password expires, I update all of my system passwords to match whichever new password I pick.

    I used to come up with clever, difficult to guess passwords. Now that I have to change my password every three months, I just +1 my previous password. Farscape20 is what I was at before I switched shows.

    If my job really expects a challenging password, then it should stop forcing me to update it so frequently. I am simply not imaginative enough (nor do I have the desire) to come up with something unique each time.

    I barely even clean my keyboard and mouse every 6 months.

    I clean my keyboard when there is enough crumbs under the keys to prevent me from typing

    I can with a quick initial glance at the screen. My fingers are pretty used to the distance and location between letters.

    That said, I need to look at a physical keyboard too before I start my two finger typing :)

    Americans are carefully indoctrinated nowadays to lick corporate boots, no surprise since business owns the US.

    Do you live in the US or have you just been told this? I grew up in Texas which is pretty conservative and the education I received was that unions where the worker's hero. My daughter receives the same information from her schools. I am trying to recall a recent movie (outside of Atlas Shrugged) or show where a big business was the hero and the unions were the bad guys.

    I was playing candy crush (I know, you can laugh or cry), when I got one of those full screen video ads. Since my volumes controls aren't linked to the ringer, I was pretty startled by the noise. Glad I wasn't sneaking a game during a meeting....

    Adaway is the first app I install now.

    The problem is that Congress is basically powerless now (and you can argue whose fault that is.) They can make any recommendation they want from their oversight hearings, but it carries no weight when the president doesn't care and selectively enforces what he wants.

    It seems that simply saying "I take full accountability" counts as some kind of action nowadays.
