They guys one the ground were special armor piercing bullets. They pass right through regular people. They hit a guy 10 times and he just keep running because he didn't know he was shot. It'd better to have the guy really know he got shot so he'd freakout and try to save himself insted of staying and fighting.
Although PM may lie and whatnot, I am under no illusions about the safty of their product because for 5 mins every morning I cough up interesting things out of my lungs.
Disney, Warner Bros, NBC, Universial, MGM, and countless equipment rental, animation, production houses, etc are based there. Whole blocks of Burbank are owned by Disney. The movie business is really based there not in Hollywood.

While it seems that the AMC 14 in Century City was built for the sole purpose to show movies so they can make the Oscars (Black Hawk Down played there the middle of December) I think as long as it plays anywhere in a public theatre your ok. But, since most of the Academy lives in LA it might hurt your chances if you show your movie in Dayton, Ohio.

My dad was laid off from Nortel last year along with 20,000 other people. They didn't pick and choose who was worth saving. My dad was a device driver programer and his project was axed. He was laid off. His boss was laid off. It went all the way up to headquaters and a few levels up there got axed.
