    The percentage of serious designers that use PS is probably above 95%.

    Actually, Harley-Davidson is still in the process of trademarking the sound. It hasn't "fallen through" although their first attempted did fail. A trademark is rarely granted the first time around (or so says the trademark/copyright lawyer that works at my company.

    I went down to D.C. recently, and when I left on the plane, looking east, I couldn't tell where the ground ended and the sky began. It was a disgusting layer of brown that looked like it spanned five hundered meters in the air... probably more.

    It wouldn't have anything to do with geography would it?

    Go ask anyone who lives in inland Orange County, California. Those people have had the honor and the privilege of having all the smog blown from LA county over to their county.

    Also, how about Mexico City? Think that having your entire huge ass city surrounded by mountains might contribute to you air pollution problems?

    Funny how it is, generally speaking, the same group of people who berate the US for our dependence on mideast oil, while at the same time vehemently protesting any movement down any path that might actually allow us to realistically release ourselves from some of that dependence, e.g., new nuclear plan

    Much of these same people also support firearm bans. So the group of people who demand the most change from their government shun the most powerful tool in bringing about that change.

    If you lose your credit card and someone charges 10k on it, Visa doesn't make you pay it unless they find out you're defrauding them.

    If someone steals you debit card and charges 10k of your money, Wells Fargo doesn't give your money back untill they prove you aren't defrauding them.

    The rules are the same and you are at the same risk, but in one case Visa is out the money during the investagation and in the other you are out the money.

    How about the right to have something happen when the trigger is pulled?

    If someone is trying to stab me to death, the firearm better operate when I want it to. To many things can go wrong as it is and most of the techonolgy is over a hundred years old.

    What reason? How about because I don't want a Palestinian blowing himself up in the US because he watched a tank (paid for with American dollars) mow down his house with his family still inside.

    The only difference between the Israelis and Palestinians is the money Israel gets from the US. If we gave the PLO 3 billion a year they would roll their tanks into Tel Aviv and the Israelies would be blowing up buses on the West Bank.

    P.S. Egypt currently isn't using its armed forces to murder people between its borders, so the amount of aid we give them is moot.
