    There has been a rather glaring memory leak since the Firebird days; it's not as bad today, but it's definately sill there. Is the problem found, waiting to be fixed, or can we expect just marginal improvements in Firefox 3?

    Good grief... the wiki is posted in a comment halfway down the thread, and it's already slashdotted! Keep in mind that wiki software is also just a way to easily make a site... not just for anyone-can-edit.

    It's very odd. I've used all ubuntu dev and stables since warty stable, and it seems, from reading (haven't used edgy), that dapper alphas were more stable than edgy final...

    Granted, it is an `edgy' dev release, but there seem to be way more problems than anyone expected.

    I'm happy with rolling release (Arch) for now... the family desktop will not be upgrading to edgy, however.

    I found, somewhere, that changing browser.startup.page to 3 will make restores actually bring back forms. I'm killing in the middle of this post, let's see what happens.

    Correction -- leave it at 1, and everything works! Success!

    Man... I'm still waiting for something inbetween a 13.3 and 15.4. Long ago did I realize that 14" 4:3 was the perfect screen, i'll use them till the end! I guess it's still thinkpad for me...

    What laptop is it? Right now, i'm pretty happy with my 14" T40. It's not extremely powerful (plenty for anything other than games), but I'm going to be using it for a very long time. Who needs a powerful laptop? Getting a desktop for power is much more cost effective!
