I don't understand why they didn't just change Link, instead of the whole world.
Think of this possible scenario. Link is riding a buggy or some sort down a road and there is an approaching enemy. Link is on the right hand side of the road, and his enemy is on the left (the enemy's right). Link is left handed and can reach the enemy with his sword. Guess what happens when Link puts the sword in his right hand?

Aside from being 1 year younger, I have to agree completely with the rest of your post.
'Smith!' screamed the shrewish voice from the telescreen. '6079 Smith W.! Yes, you! Bend lower, please! You can do better than that. You're not trying. Lower, please! That's better, comrade. Now stand at ease, the whole squad, and watch me.'
Ah, perhaps I was inserting a redundant B and A throughout my childhood, in anycase the code would still work.
The 'select start' part would be to select 2 players and start the game.
483 google results for the "B, A, B, A" method, so I wasnt the only one...
A movie based on the Half-Life universe (perhaps condensing the storyline from HL1 and moving onwards with the story of HL2, Ep1 (and Ep2) would be potentially the most bad-ass movie based on a game.

Yea I totally get what you are saying. I had a hard time trying to convince my friend that a $100 MIDI cable wouldnt make his softsynths sound any better than his $10 cable. Either it works or it doesnt (to an extent....)
You can't look at it like that.
If you have the time to spare, even a wireless connection that loses packets 'all willy nilly' can eventually download the movie, and it will still look as good. But this will be streaming in real time. Do you often stream videos via wireless? I dont, for a reason.
Riiiiidddgeee Raaaccerrr!
I second "right hand retrieve" to be the default setting among humans running the fishing program.

up down up down left right left right A B A B select start???
To clarify, I meant based on the timeline in the HL universe between the ending of HL1 and on. Not necessarily having Gordon as the protagonist.

I no longer take anything IGN says to heart. Especially if its about the Wii. They've been tossing out some retarded unconfirmed news this year.
EEEEEExactly!

"stupid" might not be the thing to call them, but this "indoor generation" certainly is aquiring less street smarts.
