Co-location. A lot of exchanges will let you put your servers in their building. Then the arguments start about who's network cable is shortest and which router it's on. I'm not joking.
You get a few minutes to submit secret bids, the exchange gets nearly a half hour to match them up
This is similar to what the open and close auctions are on most exchanges except there are indications as to what the mid price is. It all gets matched at the end of the auction. If you think you're being fleeced, why not just trade the auctions instead of intraday continuous trading?
What if that blob of a gallaxy is is really the Milkyway when it was very young and the light we are seeing has in fact traveled around the curve of the Universe so we can see it now the way it was then.
think of those poor sorry record companies though, how are they supposed to make any money
I know you're being sarcastic but maybe they're really not supposed to. Maybe a mark of a great society is one where record executives, lawyers and politicians don't get rich.
The funny thing is, almost everyone has probably used Akami without realising it. They provide up to 30% of web traffic. I assume most of that comes in the form of updates and software downloads that loads of big players seem to use them for.
The indie section was a mess last time I looked, the top sellers were "personal massager" programs that did nothing more than make the controllers vibrate on command. There were several "games" that just tortured your avatar.
How many fart boob or "x-ray" apps do you need to see before you realise the Apple store is even more dire? At least xbox live restricts the trash to one "abandonded lot" out the back where no-one sees it. It's really hard to distinquish quality on the app store.
Hmm, yes, 'stolen'. This kind of thing smells more of backroom dodgy dealing between HSBC and the UK government. It gives HSBC plausible deniability but the government gets them to comply with what they've been asking for all this time.
relying too heavily on foreign sources of raw materials
And this is where Japan hits the rocks (pun intended). They don't have much in the way of useful goodies in the ground and have no choice but to be dependent on other countries.
Self checkouts are fine as long as you're not buying alcohol. Nothing is more annoying than "Approval Needed" followed by a 10 minute wait while you finally manage to get the attention of some dim-witted nomad assistant wandering aimlessly between the checkouts.
The TSA tried to have the same checks on US domestic flights but the US Airline lobbies put an end to that.
Yeah, he should have a go at the newer Ninja Gaiden games. Those are pretty hard.

Time to format those TPS reports with wing-dings...
I think we've already heard enough about Julian Assange's private life.
Whoa. As Keanu Reaves would say.
No, the 50TB is for a museum of all the different CDs they sent out.

How many cards can I get and can I buy my own music with it from my own 'label'?
I'll be sure never to take YOUR sandwich from the office refrigerator...
That would be "I'm a Mac"
Because it sounds scary.
Fashion Accessories vs Computers. I had to buy brown clothes just so they would match my Zune.
In North Korea, only old people use that meme.

It doesn't apply to spys.
That should be "fart, boob" not "fart boob". On second thoughts, that sounds like and app-store winner...

Let me guess, you jailbroke it? :)
Well, at least we would get some benefit out of Wall St...

It's all fun and games until someone connects a tethered iphone to their work PC.
