I have a colleague who uses her mouse upside down. Meaning invert x, invert y, clicking with her thumb, cable facing downwards. She says that's just how she started using it and it never occured to her to use it the other way. She's no less accurate than I am with a mouse either.
I've heard stories of one individual completely stumped when he ran out of desk space but couldn't move the mouse cursor any more to the right than the middle of the screen. Clearly he didn't realise that you pick the mouse up...
In order to maintain as politically neutral a role as possible, Interpol's constitution forbids its involvement in crimes that do not overlap several member countries,[3] or in any political, military, religious, or racial crimes.[4]
So why if the crime happened only in Sweden is he even on Interpol's radar?
Surely if there was any case to answer, he should just be extradited from somewhere by political due process?
Seems like what they're doing us purely based on political pressure based on clause [4] above. I wonder if it's anything to do with the current Interpol president being a former US Treasurer.
Did you miss Vista? I apologise if you are one of Joseph Fritzel's children or Natascha Kampusch. That would be an almost reasonable excuse for believing that Microsoft have had a clean streak. Almost, but not quite.
It would be interesting to discover if soldiers do the right thing because they are good or because they are afraid of the consequences. Next stop insubordination and war crimes.
Don't worry, that would never work in the UK since trains are never on time or just not in service. That's actually why Hasib Hussain ended up blowing up a bus instead of a tube train.
None of this is default behaviour though. It might be tired and you might be sick of hearing it over and over but that's because it's a problem for a lot of people. If it wasn't a problem by default, you wouldn't hear about it.
For you (and me in other cases) it's obvious that these and other more dangerous things might be configurable but for many non-technical people, it probably doesn't occur to them at all. Judging by your reaction to me, it sounds like you have very little sympathy for that and that they get what they deserve. I think that says more about you than me.
Colonel Sanders would ask for a closed court room too. But only so the public doesn't see him white with rage, beating the shit out of secret recipe thiefs.
There's a poster above that says he is the same. That's three. I suspect it's some kind of alien invasion.

You know what else is weird? From wikipedia:

Apple will probably have to rename FaceTime then. It's ArseTime!
Arrrgh! How can I UNrecalculate it?
Can't you wait until you get home?
ZOMG! Nuclear Pirate Ninja Zombies! There IS a fate worse than death!
Download your Windows updates and put your Spybot on.
And take laxatives.

OK, so it's Westworld rather Terminator. I'm still scared.

Why, did his cat die?
You've worked out what OLPC is really for.
..of nature?
That's awesome. I like lesbians almost as much as I like D&D.
It's ironic. A few years ago the internet (especially bittorent) was killing video rental. Now it's the other way around.
I suppose pre-trials were done on 3 blind mice?
I assume pre-tests were done on 3 blind mice? /ducks...
I think the point is redundancy+secrecy rather than just redundancy.
Yikes. For a website called hatetube, there's an awful lot of love tube.

That doesn't stop random asshats tagging you in photos.
