Reverse Relativity, sounds catchy.

Re:Only one launch
C'mon. Product life cycle theory.
Falcon 9 is currently the cash cow that finances finalizing development of Falcon Heavy, which is now slowly shifting from question mark to star. BFR is deep in the question mark territory, but before it's completed, FH will be funding it.
Also, SpaceX is barely profitable now, because it spends simply outrageous amount of money on R&D. If they decided to reduce the development tempo to more sane levels it would be swimming in money in no time, it's just earning a fortune in commercial launches and spending it immediately. They have 2 launches per month and they definitely scaled back production of new F9s, they regularly reuse!

Re:It's all fun and games
Except for the blind spots.
NHTSA says there are over 800,000 blind spot accidents in the U.S. every year, resulting in about 300 fatalities. That's why higher-end cars are coming with blind spot detectors now. Note that Japanese taxis mount the side mirrors on the front of the car to eliminate the blind spot. The image is smaller (boo hoo, you can't read the front license plate), but you can immediately see any vehicles in your blind spot. The taxi companies have found such a big improvement in safety due to those mirrors that they use them even though it looks dorky.
Everyone arguing that side mirrors are superior needs to come to grips wit the fact that unless you mount the side mirrors on the front of the car, they are simply not a very good solution to the problem. If cameras can eliminate the blind spot, they will be a huge improvement to safety. Any aesthetic or fuel consumption improvement is just gravy - the important thing is the safety improvement. Even the argument that camera viewscreen require a different focus distance can be addressed by mounting a mild lens in front of the display. -
Trump most "Uncle Sam" like of the contenders
Seriously, picture the old Uncle Sam character — wearing tall head, the blue jacket and striped pants. Now try to imagine other contenders — from both major parties — in the outfit.
Trump is the only one, who can possibly fit. There is even a red-haired variant, if you must quibble...

Re:No
That's what they did. This blog has an excellent phortograph of a sheet printer. Whole teams of men would be employed to do the placement of articles, the assembly of printed text from individual characters and fonts

All the different characters of every font and size were stored in special rack drawers:

The group, which is an agency of the Department of Justice issued a Request for Information specifically targeting what it called a fully integrated systems that will allow for the detection, tracking, interdiction, engagement and neutralization of small â" less the 55lb â" unmanned aerial system.
- introducing: the NET. This technology combined with the technology known as the MAN will provide a fully integrated system that will allow for the detection, tracking, interdiction, engagement and neutralization of small - less than the 55lb - unmanned aerial systems.
Not to be confused with the FLYSWATTER system though, which is a much weaker solution.

Re:Let them drink!
Oh joy, I really want the poles to look like this. Sure, that looks safe.
At one time, there was no need to convince anyone to hire you (either as an employee or as a business). But I understand people get upset if you shoot food in the neighborhood.
I notice that many praise a place where the government does nothing, but there's no line to enter Somalia.

Don't worry, my friend, these people won't let them do that!

That'd work, but I was thinking of the http://www.dreamstime.com/roya... ones.
Whatever works faster and most areas is cheapest to clear them. Perhaps simple enough for locals to use to clear the mines themselves. -

Re:Great

Re:What's really stupid about this...
Most of the microstock companies that sell Royalty-free images already do that, in the form of tagging and descriptions provided by the photographer.
For example, my picture of a burning tire has a bunch of tags and a full description so that anyone searching for tires, fire, burning, smoke, etc. can find that picture.
Now, when the media people buy the images, they just need to keep track of those descriptions and tags, but that is a much smaller problem.
Google already made that "photo tagging" game, Google Image Labeler -
Re:As a Web Developer ...
I've been using Dreamstime.com quite a bit lately. Their site is not quite as polished as istocksphoto's, but their prices are lower and you'll see many of the same photos.
