TL;DR: Kid gets denied heart transplant because of bad grades and long rap sheet. Doctors were accused of being racist, so he gets heart transplant anyways in spite of this happening to everybody, regardless of race (I personally was initially denied kidney transplant listing myself, though for health reasons which I later resolved.) Two years later, in a criminal rampage, the kid attempts to shoot an old lady in the head during a robery, flees the cops in a high speed chase, strikes a pedestrian, and then dies in a high speed collision with a lightpost. Meanwhile somebody else likely died while waiting for a heart transplant that should have been theirs. Thank you social justice.

You'd better do some research. California is one of ONLY 3 states to give more to the US federal government than it receives. Without California's MASSIVE tech and Agricultural industries the US GDP will take a double digit drop, creating an economic hit similar to the great depression and the banking crash. Sorry, but for all your knowledge, you are wrong.

Some consoles in those days used what's known as artifacting in order to gain colors or other effects. What this means is that they rely on the fact that some pixels will fall between colors on the screen to get more colors out of hi-res images. When you "improve the fidelity with better connections", it does in fact become "too good".

One is monochrome and one is color you say? No. They are both the same image. The first is on a "good, accurate" monitor over a very strong connection. But the second relied on the fact that certain pixels fall between the phosphors on the screen, picking up color where it didn't exist. Some NES, SNES and Genesis games were designed to rely on this process in order to look "right" and will actually not look right in HDMI. Now SNES and Genesis, being composite instead of TV switch box like Atari and NES, rely on it more for subtle effects such as brightness bleed and shadow. Particular colors are chosen because they know these effects will result on most composite TV sets.

it's not nostalgia, it's a design consideration. One that relies on the imperfection of TV switch boxes on channel 3 or on the bleed effect of composite video. Perfection eliminates this design consideration, making the game less than it was.

I would love to make firefox the default browser in my company. However mozilla has zero interest in that. While chrome provides MSI's and group policy templates to tie the whole thing together, enforce custom settings, etc.
