Obligatory Little Gamers link.

Re:do no evil
Little Gamers summed up the Google evolution pretty well.

Re:The beginning of...
Little gamers have already illustrated the evolution of Google pretty well.

Re:US Government logic
Non-obligatory Little Gamers
It's been done to death and was only funny the first time.

Re:Why type?
Does anyone still type in HTML or CSS anymore? Don't you just bring up a WSYWIG designer and just publish your page? I mean, Please! This is the 21st century wtf are we still typing for christ-sakes?! This is why.
Dreamweaver is more aptly called nightmare weaver. Quick and dirty one up static page? Sure use WYSIWYG. Editing something existing with well thought out hand written CSS? Forget it, you are just going to screw things up.
Of course static hand created webpages in this day are the real WTF. For anything more complicated than a few pages it makes a lot more sense to run a CMS. Design the template once properly so it looks correct on the major browsers and let users change the content via the CMS. No luser should ever be FTPing anything to or from the site and the "web master" of past should not longer exist to shuffle changes on a website. It's not the 90's anymore. We have great (and free!) tools to manage creating, editing and publishing content on websites. -

Re:Sweeeet!
On the other hand if you don't need a reference then you should definitely read this Little Gamers strip.
-
Re:Left hand, right hand
So is this your comic? Or do you know the person whose comic it is? Or did you get the quote from elsewhere yourself? Or did you just get ripped off?

My feelings on this..
Anyone share my feelings when it comes to FF?
http://little-gamers.com/index.php?comicID=1385 [Depend on where you work, NSFW]
(Since FFX it's been getting more and more like Xenogears) -
Correction time...Some call the art the bastard child of Hello Kitty and Bomberman.
I don't think you can use the word "some" when they said it themselves in their second strip.
I don't have any issues with Zonk or anything...but do a little research before posting, for christ's sake.

Compare and contrast. What's that extra tracker link about? You'd think they'd go back and do it to old ones, too.

Re:zerg
Many webcomic artists have been trying to find a method to finance webserver costs, but it usually comes down to "direct donation" via paypal, or buying stuff through a storefront for related goods. Most authors don't mind hitting up people for a few bucks, but others have spoken in the past that donations "rip off" the readers of what they believe to be "free media" Personally I support the storefront option for that kinda site, but for something like a piece of software, donations work all of the same. I guess everything needs an ethnical debate these days.

Re:Wow.
Yeah, I have a fairly high speed connection too and the bug still appears.
However, I've experienced same type of bug sometimes on e.g. Little Gamers, so it's not
/. specific, it's most likely just "bad HTML" specific. -
Not a lesser evil
Find out who else is running and choose someone - anyone - that you honestly can say is not a lesser evil.
Wait.. hold on..
If we shouldn't vote for the lesser evil..
Do you mean to say we should vote for.. the greater evil ? -
Some Fun Game Related Comics
I check Penny Arcade, Little Gamers, and Real Life Comics an awful lot. Probably too much to be healthy.
Why? Because the web provides me access to humor that is very, VERY specialized. Find comics like these in a Sunday Paper, or a comic shop, or anywhere else.

Cool stuff for free (think: beer)
I didn't even think of web-comics until I saw...possibly Megatokyo...or maybe little gamers...I think...there's lots of links between the good ones. Lots of links to the up-and-comings, too.
I've seen lots of comments on /. slating them for either the infrequency of new comics, or the topics of their rants or lack of continuous story, or lack of one-off giggles, or whatever.
Fact is, they're free, and it costs you nothing but the effort it takes to click the link/type the url, and at the and of the day, there's just someone (like you) out there putting them up 'cos they want to.
Personally, I usually turn up to work, and go thru my daily ritual of checking megatokyo, little gamers, pvponline, penny-arcade, slashdot and bbc news, and then my mail. It bugs me that people keep bitching about the content, rants, update frequency etc - they're FREE (as in beer). Lighten up guys! So what if Piro doesn't get the 3 comics he says he'll do up a week? Who cares if you don't like the artwork? So what if you don't think Userfriendly isn't funny today? There's no end of comics out there.
For me, the web is about what YOU like. If it bugs you that there isn't a comic every day, or your don't like the story, don't follow that comic This is the the web. There's lots of other stuff out there.
UF might, as I've seen some posts comment, use some second-hand jokes, but they're still funny - I'm thinking User:ID=10t. Made me giggle :)
btw, if you haven't seen it, check out When I am King - possibly the funniest thing I've seen on the web yet... -
Another comic
Via memepool, I've discovered another online comic: Little Gamers. Topics include: Final Fantasy, LAN Parties, and Japanese sake. Give it a look.
