You mean that Sage Sharp said on Twitter that his past statements on rape made it difficult to have faith in the board's ability to enforce the CoC?

She is arguing that the CoC is ineffective and should be improved by adding more details of how to contact the board privately and securely, and that the current set-up where the board has access to an archive of complaints (which could potentially be about board members) is inadequate.

So this doesn't appear to be anything like the claims being made about the CoC being used to get people removed/banned over minor, past statements. Note that she doesn't say Theo should be removed, she says that the Technical Advisory Board is the wrong organization to be dealing with these complaints.

So far there is no evidence that these fears are true, despite literally years of asking for examples and ample time for problems to develop.

The abuse of the Code of Conduct began almost immediately with Sage Sharp accusing Theo Ts’o (member of the Linux Foundation Technical Advisory Board and Google employee) of being a rape apologist:

Clearly they have no interest in Linux and are instead intent on hijacking the project to push their political agenda. Linux contributors just want to focus on their work, but now they have to deal with aggressive harassment by vile social justice bullies. The toxic environment that the Code of Conduct has brought about will cause contributors to leave the community to avoid harassment, thus Linux will go into decline.

When it comes to aggressive social justice bullies, you simply can't give them anything. If you apologise, if you bend to their will, if you even respond to them, then you've lost. Eric Raymond pointed the dangers of meritocracy back in 2015. with his Why Hackers Must Eject the SJWs article. The example he brought up was about djangoconcardiff lying about patch rejection in the django community.

The pull request was rejected not the person. Of the people who did not had their patches accepted at least one submitted another pull request and was accepted or are contributors in my other repositories, disproving your basic premise.

There is no need for a code of conduct, there hasn't been a conduct related incident with the repository and nothing about a contributor comes into play when rejecting or accepting a patch (as proved above). An explanation is provided when a patch is rejected, and some have been left open to re-asses in a future time.

I'm not white and please don't make any other assumptions about me, they hold no relevance to the matter at hand.

Now I hate conspiracy theories with a passion but does the "recent" rash of CoC changes seem to be politically driven? Maybe. There SEEMS to be a larger narrative at play.

Regardless, I still think it is too early to tell but this inclusion of meritocracy is definitely something to keep an eye out for in the future.

The only descriptions and confidence factors affected were things that visually we congruent to the elephant, in a way that they could have been related. In fact I couldn't even make out an elephant the way they put it in without looking hard, and was impressed the system still had such a strong lock on the person.

If you have ever built one of those classifiers you can understand that an item in the image would not have the global effect they are describing...

On top of that it turns out humans are pretty easily fooled anyway, a computer will probably end up much better in that regard. It's just that it's a bit hard for us to understand conceptually how it is "seeing" and so a bit hard to guard against error..

But you're right, something makes me think Microsoft Office 365 wouldn't be taken offline so easily. Still, this appears to be action of the domain registrar, and Microsoft wouldn't use "TierraNet" as a registrar! In fact, office.com's whois says they use "MarkMonitor" as the registrar, who (given their business model) are MUCH more likely to take their client's side in a dispute than whatever automated nonsense TierraNet did. (google.com likewise uses MarkMonitor).

(It looks like there was some consolidation over the years - ZOHO probably used a reputable registrar initially, but then it got sold and moved and nobody paid attention to it because it was working - which is fine, up until it wasn't. However, I do partially blame Zoho - when you're this size, you NEED to be keeping on top of all your commercial agreements. EVERY LAST ONE. And make sure they're taken seriously.
