Re:A bit of history here
Aliens did build the pyramids and the Sphinx. They built the pyramids and face on Mars as well. We have known this since the Viking probe in the '70s. Read all about it. Martians destroy Mars Climate Orbiter. Martians destroy Mars Polar Lander. Martians have base on dark side of moon. There it is in black and white. We couldn't print it if it weren't true!

Re:Orthogonal directions
I saw some math humor at Uncoveror.com.Something about tipping the maid. It's a word problem. I was never good at those.

Re:When Slashdot attacks
If you are tempted to return your defective computer because your keyboard has no "any" key, read this first.

Re:No one thinks its a UFO?
Since no one knows for sure just what it is, by definition, it is a UFO, an Unidentified Flying Object. That doesn't prove that it's alien, but it could be. If it is a moon, those nasty Zhti Ti Kofft will put a death ray on it.

Re:"Piracy" is the excuse
"Pay per use" is indeed the RIAA's goal, but they won't wait five years. They already want us to pay to listen to the radio. Check it out!

Re:It's not changing channels
Not only that, but some channels are starting to use pop-up ads that contain subliminal messages. Kind of scary, huh?
-
Re:i sold hp for a while...
Dude! Why did you waste your time e-mailing Carly Fiorina. Don't you know she's a mole for IBM?
-
Re:Why not take your DNA?
Darn Microsquash Keyboard!! Here's the correct link.

Re:Why not take your DNA?
I suspect that many customers will respond to Operation Thumbs up with Operation Fingers Up.

New World Order?
Before reading this article, I knew little about Palladium. Since reading this article, I know little about Palladium. It was a whole lot of nothing. Like
.Net, I still don't know what Palladium is, and suspect that I won't want any part of it when I do. It is probably part of the dark conspiracy to spy on us, and bring about the New World Order with things like webcams, bugged ceiling fans, the V-chip, and mind control software. -

Re:Well Happy Birthday!...
We have come a long way. Advertising used to be easy to ignore, but now some advertisements contain subliminal messages. TV used to only recieve signals, but now, if you have the V-chip, Big Brother is watching.

Re:Uh...you did it
If you could get in on that new Pay for Play Radio plan, you might make some dough, but it is run by Hilary Rosen and Co. Maybe you could trick them, and just sell your soles instead of your souls.
-
Re:Who "owns" the moon, anyway?
The Moon Belongs to the Zhti Ti Kofft, or as we more commonly call them, Martians. They have a base on the dark side of the moon.

Re:One more ...
It would cost Ebay a lot less than a fat legal settlement to have the Mafia deal with MercExchange, and Thomas Woolston. If only they were members of Prepaid Illegal Services, this never would have come to light.

When will Janis Ian appear before Congress?
Hollywood and the RIAA have the likes of Jack Valenti and Hilary Rosen speaking before Congress all the time. Other than Representative Rick Boucher of Virginia, consumers have no voice there. Is there any way Janis Ian could speak before Congress on behalf of musicians and music consumers? I would hate for the likes of Hilary Rosen and Jack Valenti to be the only voices they hear.

Re:BULLSH*T!!
Thank you for your critique of the lottery article, and here is my response Have a nice day!
:) -
Re:With those odds
Here is my response to my illiterate anonymous coward critic.
-
Re:With those odds
Unlikely things are happening to her, but that doesn't mean she would win the lottery, after all, the lottery is rigged.

Have you noticed...
Have you noticed that no subject turns us into hostile camps of "us" and "them," sniping at each other, quite like religion? If we were not separated by cyberspace we would be fighting, and perhaps even killing each other right now. Not exactly love, peace, and brotherhood of man, is it? This story was supposed to give us a laugh! So is this one. Maybe laughter can chase away the anger and hate, and bring us a moment of joy.

They probably won't recognise Elvites either.
So, Australia is oppressing the followers of The Force. I bet they won't recognize Elvites either. Do you have to pick from an approved list of Christian churches to avoid being prosecuted for giving false information?
-
from the article...
Thus far, only halting, low-key steps have been taken to thwart mass copying. Just four titles, including an album by country singer Charley Pride, have been released in the United States with reconfigured coding intended to render them unplayable in computer hard drives, which is where most CD burning and uploading to Web sites takes place.
Now just how do you cram a CD into a hard drive? Wouldn't attempting to do this with any disc break it, rendering it unplayable? The Computer illiterate should not write articles about technology. I'll bet David Seagal is still looking for his "any" key. -
Re:Another Proublem
Here is the darn "any" key. Be confused no more!
-
Re:Actual Destinations?
Wow! You know about the base. I am glad the real news is finally getting out.

Re:That's why :-)
Mars observer failed because the Zhti Ti Kofft, or Martians as we call them, don't want any earthlings on their soil, living or deceased. They destroyed it. Ira's Ashes may have been pulled down to Mars by its gravity, though. Ira may have still gotten his wish.

Re:Next they find the gene for understanding math
If we found the gene for understanding math, we could turn it on in everyone, then nobody would waste their money paying the tax on people who don't understand math, the lottery, which , by the way, is rigged. The various states and the Mafia would want to supress such a discovery, or find a way, such as through "vaccines" to turn the gene off in everyone, creating even more suckers that the ones born every minute.

Re:so what?
If Toho actually brings a lawsuit, will it be called Slappzilla? How do you say frivolous in Japanese? This is like Microsoft suing Andersen and Pella over use of the term "windows."

Re:War is bad for children and other living things
It is all part of their plan to bring about the New World Order, A global network of totalitarian governments. When they create a global second great depression, they hope we will all be desparate enough to let them have "emergency powers". Phony wars and "terrorism" are also parts of the plot. The Ivy League's Skull and Bones society, and The Illuminati are behind it all. Here are some links to things they have already done to create the New World Order. http://www.uncoveror.com/fans.htm http://www.uncoveror.com/vchip.htm http://www.uncoveror.com/webcams.htm

That catapult idea again.
Mechanical climbers, powered by an electric motor, would scale the ribbon, hauling the cargo thousands of kilometres before catapulting the payload, which could include anything from satellites to human passengers, to its destination.
NASA must be obsessed with catapults. Every plan they come out with seems to make use of one in some way. -

Cows with human genes are insignificant compared to Meat that grows on trees, which is now being shipped to stores.

Re:Great, Now not only on the ground, but in the s
Those Asian flying snakes are nothing compared to the Eastern Flying Snake at Red River Gorge here in the States. It, the "Devil's Constrictor," and the flesh eating termites make that a very dangerous place.

Re:Dammit
Considering the current climate of corporate fraud, investing in stock is like throwing money into a fire. Some new investment strategies are needed. It's your money. Don't throw it away.

Re:the robot will be very affordable.
Instead of robots, they could use Remote Control Human Drones. Those are cheaper, and possibly capable of creative thought.

Re:Digital Tuners
In addition to the technologies you mentioned, they already have the V-chip, which isn't about protecting your kids from the naughty bits of TV, it's a surveillance device the government is using to spy on us. The good news is that it can be disabled. Check it out!

The Viking probe did discover life on Mars, and NASA has been trying to cover it up. Read about it here, and read the follow-up here.

Re:Ummm. no.
There is indeed a secret base on the dark side of the moon. The Martians put it there. Whether it is the cause of the change in Earth's gravity field, I can't say.
-
Re:Anon@IBM
Yes, IBM loves to assimilate, or destroy its competition. They assimilated PWC, and will destroy HP through their mole, Carly Fiorina.
-
Re:Does it work on pointy-headed bosses?
Can it repel this "pest"? Bill Gates would like to know.

Re:fp
They are also working on a new launch vehicle that won't be so sensitive to lightning.
