The open question is how Google and Youtube will define "inciting violence."
Currently, all foreign journalists in the Palestinian territories are required to register with the Israeli military, and all footage must be approved through the Israeli Military Censor's office before being released. However, according to the article in alternet individual Palestinians have been uploading videos showing violence by Israeli soldiers, including execution-style killings, and highlighting the living conditions in the territories, which Israeli authorities consider inflammatory.

There are plenty of videos that show what living conditions in the West Bank look like. The most accurate ones are by Corey Gil Shuster, where he talks to the average Palestinian and asks pointed questions.
Not just arabs, he also asks Jews obnoxious questions posed by his audience. As someone who's been there and lived on both sides of the green line, I can tell you first hand how good his videos are.
Palestinians will always be the first to lie to you and tell you they're living in squalor. But their digs are first world. The biggest complaint arabs have is checkpoints. The biggest complaint Jews in Israel have is checkpoints. That much, the average person agrees on.
Gaza is another story. There you have a more extreme class divide, much higher unemployment rates, a lot more poverty; though, still doing pretty good when compared to the rest of the arab world. That said, it's also fair to point out that Gaza hasn't been managed by Israel in almost ten years. And they didn't have to burn their bridges with Egypt. They chose to do that.
Will they also be making preparations to censor Israeli videos that insight violence against Palestine? I'm guessing not since Israel considers that completely acceptable.
I'm an American. I love this country and the freedoms that we used to have.
The moral picture is still asymmetrical -- Israel is fighting an existential war of self defense, whereas the Palestinians are fighting to murder and drive out the Jews, and institute a stone age theocracy in place of the Middle East's only democracy. If a few IDF soldiers went unhinged and committed murder (for which I'd expect them to be prosecuted by Israel), that's still both qualitatively and quantitatively different from the acts of murder by Palestinians against Jewish civilians. Palestinian suicide bombers who kill civilians achieve a sort of sainthood in Palestinian society, whereas Israeli soldiers (and orthodox zealots) who go off the reservation make (most) everybody in Israeli society angry, because in their personal acts of revenge they bring dishonor on their country's war effort.
Bracing myself for onslaught of angry leftists, and reflecting on how lucky we are in a society where free speech has been the rule for centuries to be able to blow steam out our ears and argue with each other seven ways to Sunday, without it really occurring to us to shoot and stab one another, at least for the most part (yeah yeah, Slashdot is USA centric).

If you have a rudimentary grasp of Arabic, I highly recommend searching for recruiting and training material put out by groups like Hamas, Islamic Jihad, even Daesh. Though, in truth, if you did, you would probably get flagged by homeland security in whatever country you're in. In that pile there are some real classics like How to Make a Pipe Bomb, Optimal Use of a Suicide Vest, and (my favorite) How to Stab a Jew. These videos are already in violation of Youtube terms of service on at least three counts I can think of.

Trying to stop people from saying something you don't want them to say is known as "censorship". What you're saying here is "I think that in this case censorship is justified."
I admit to some mixed feelings here. I'd like to see videos recruiting people to terrorism pulled down... but I'm skeptical about giving anybody the authority to decide which videos, because that authority can be misused. As has been pointed out, freedom of speech really isn't freedom of speech until it includes allowing people to say things that you personally don't like.
I'm afraid I'd err on the side of freedom here. I don't know if I can trust the government-- any government, but least of all the Israeli government--with the power to decide what to censor.

We've already determined in the US that internet videos cannot incite violence. We then investigated that possibility (at least) an additional 7 times after determining that fact, and kept coming to the same conclusion. We've thrown many millions of dollars into this question, I thought the Israelis were frugal enough with their money to learn from this and avoid making the same mistake.

Good luck with that one. The problem here is that the two ethnic groups are almost the same: they're both Semitic people, and are extremely closely related genetically. Any bio-weapon targeting Jewish genetics is also going to affect Arabs, and vice-versa.
Something like that might work if, for instance, the Nigerians were really pissed at the Chinese. But with most cases where some ethnic group really hates some other ethnic group, the two groups are more similar to each other than to anyone else. Actually, YouTube removed videos which were encouraging Palestinians to kill Israelis (and were actually faked), and were clearly in violation of TOS. The stories don't say anything about removing videos of real Israeli attacks on Palestinians. If you search YouTube for "israeli human rights abuses", you'll still find lots of hits.

The Palestinian organizations like to say, the Israelis are censoring Google, support our organization and fight this.
Following media reports about a meeting last week between Google / YouTube executives and the Israeli Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, we wanted to clarify that this meeting was one of many that we have with policymakers from different countries to explain our policies on controversial content, flagging and removals. The Israeli Ministry for Foreign Affairs has corrected its original announcement which, in error, suggested there had been an agreement with Google to establish ‘a mechanism to monitor online materials.

Not generally... there is almost no Semite in modern Jews anymore. There are some left of course, but the blood line is far from being so pure. I (and most Israeli's I know) want Youtube and Google to keep any video that shows improper behavior by soldiers towards Palestinians. It keeps us honest and lets us prosecute criminals, even if they are wearing uniforms. This happens once in a while yet much less often than you would think and not at the scale of atrocities done by the US, French, British and Russian forces in Syria, Afghanistan or Iraq. And Israel does a pretty good job of bringing these people to justice.
These are not the videos that are discussed here. As I'm sure you all know, there is an ongoing wave of "terror" in Israel in the past month (Call it any way you want - the facts are that civilians, kids, women and the elderly are daily being stabbed in the street and purposely being run-over in bus stops). Many of the Arab attackers are kids. Boys and girls aged 11 and up, leave school, pick up a kitchen knife and go hunting for Jews to kill.
These kids are sometimes called to action using illegal (per the Youtube and Facebook terms of service) videos in the Arabic language. These are the videos in question. They are copying the ISIS video recruitment strategy and it is working out pretty good for them. There are ~2 attacks per day. Many of the attackers are Arab Israelis with full civilian rights and a Israeli passport.
Imagine sending your kids to school in this climate.

As for the conflict with the Palestinians, it's not about rights, it's about religion and the Palestinian's rights, as represented by Hamas, to establish a state based on the Islamic Sharia law just like in Saudi Arabia.
Israel should not be occupying the Palestinian territories and for sure they should improve their behavior, however armed groups like Hamas which control Gaza (and which is not occupied by Israel) have extreme religious agenda. They are not passive. They invest huge amount of Gaza resources (much of it funded by Qatar) into arming Gaza, instead of into schools and hospitals.
To put it simple, lets say all the jewish people would leave Israel tomorrow, and then the Palestinians take over (and assuming miraculously they do not fight over control for the next 100 years) . What kind of country would it be? Would it be a country based on rule of law with rights for all or an Islamic Sharia country? The answer is obvious. Wake. up.
It's simple to see Israel's point of view on the issue of youtube video censorship, if you adhere to the Golden Rule. If people were broadcasting recruitment videos, inciting hate and violence against your friends and family (and yourself), and these videos were demonstrably proven to have convinced young people to stab random people on the street, you would try to combat it as aggressively as you could. Free as in freedom applies to protocol, not method. In the absence of better options, and since the state depts. of many countries already censor ISIS and al Queda propaganda videos, I support the censorship of videos inciting violence against Israeli citizens. Hopefully the violence will end one day, so there will be no such videos to censor.

There is so much semite in modern jews, even in those long of european descent, it's easily identified with cheap DNA sequencing, as any customer of FTDNA, Ancestry or 23andme can see and test for themselves. I'm sick of hearing people saying, oh ur just pro Israel, or pro Palistinians. Why can't people just see the good logic and rational instead of dividing into sides and shutting other's ideas down, just cuz they seem like they are 'pro x' or 'pro y'. We should all really just be pro peace, pro justice, pro life, pro freedoms, pro advancement, pro democracy, pro good morals, pro truth, etc. not 'pro Israel' or 'pro palistinians'. I don't know. There are two conflicting forces here.
One force is driven by the principle that, even for their own selfish, commercial purposes, Youtube can't be overwhelmingly popular and successful if they arbitrarily censor content.
The other force is that the Israeli government has one of the most powerful, well-funded, influential lobbies in the U.S., as effective as the National Rifle Association. They've gotten congressmen voted out of office by sheer financial contributions to their opponents.
(And I think it's disturbing that a foreign country, through campaign contributions by its American proxies, can influence American elections like that.)
I don't know which principle is going to win. We'll see pretty soon.
What they want to do is a complete waste of time as neither Google nor YouTube control the whole internet, and in fact all it would do is push more of the videos to sites like Liveleak which isn't controlled by Google anyway. They only went to Google as an implied threat about what would happen to Google's Israeli interests and business if they DIDN'T cooperate.
And then what do you do, ask Liveleak to stop? Do you think a site fine posting videos of car accidents, decapitations, people burning to death, and much much more is going to care what Israel might ask for? No.
The site is already overrun with various videos from Syria and Iraq and all manner of other places. If you've EVER had any desire to hear how many times somebody can yell "Allahu Ackbar!" while shooting at or being bombed by other forces, Liveleak is your place. And then you can watch the daily video of the scooter crash in China where everybody died horribly. There is one of those about every day so it doesn't have to be any specific scooter crash video. Just wait. There will be a new one.

Ok, maybe, but still, you're talking about two groups of people who are very closely related genetically. It's impossible for them not to be: they originate from the same part of the world. They even look mostly the same. It's like comparing a German to a Frenchman. They're not very far apart. It's not like the genetic difference between a German and a Japanese person, or even more, the difference between a subsaharan African and just about anyone else. When it comes to religion, I don't really care either way, but most belief systems do indicate some level of 'treating your neighbour with respect', which I don't see much of at the political level in that area.
