I'd doubt that. I recently had a scan done on a development site I am working on, and got a high vulnerability rating. Based on the weblogs, some simple correlation, and the fact that I quietly remove invalid characters rather than printing an error, my "High" rating of in-security is in fact a low... these guys don't read their work, its just like running Nessus or Nmap without checking your answers, if you don't look hard enough your not going to find the answer.
I only support bands I like by buying their merchandise and seeing them in concert. Don't get me wrong I do buy some CDs of bands that I really enjoy but most I do pirate. Is it wrong? Maybe. Is it stealing? Maybe.
The last concert I went to I saw Thursday...After the show the lead singer -encouraged- fans to download their music. Why? The question is...are you going to spend $12-20 on CD that you may or may not like? I know I'm not...If I download the music and hear them and like their music I will buy their merchandise (shirts) or see them in concert when I have time (which gives them more of a profit anyway).
When will the music industry realize this is beyond me. For now I will still pirate my music...
I could just be paranoid but what I would be afraid of is people posting 'images' of games that actually bricked your system...
You really only have to be successful with a couple hundred/thousand systems before word gets out and the average consumer will be afraid to install a mod-chip and download games. If you want to download games I suggest using sites similar to Piratebay.org were people leave comments on quality of file.
I'm considering doing some game backups for my Wii so I dont ruin the originals when going to friends houses but I really want DVD video playback support. I may wait a few months and see how the Wii modchips advance.
Anyone know if any Modchips or Third party software is in development for the Wii to play DVD Videos and DVD Video backups? I'm certainly not paying another $250+ for a new Wii at the end of this year just to play DVDs. It has a DVD Drive, just no DVD video software.:(
I sort of hope that they drop the price so more will sell, but I spent $647.99 on my PS3. =( You got suckered too eh?:0P

Question: if my car goes 70 miles/hour and my wifi goes 11Mbs, will the overall packet speed be bigger?:D Doubtful considering the velocity of the packets would clearly be less than the car...my guess would be slower speeds. =p
My cousin brought over his PS3 the other day so I could check it out. All in all I wasn't impressed with the system. COD3 looks pretty good (and gameplay was good) and Resistance is alright but not that great. He also showed me the Gran Turismo Demo this article is referring to. It looks like CRAP. I mean this looks like regular Playstation graphics...the only thing that looks decent is the the replay mode but normal game play sucks. $650 for a Next Gen console? Please, my P4 gaming comp I built 4 years ago looks better than this thing.
PC gaming FTW IMO.
I'm sure just part of it is "Toxic" and they can break it down and just use the useful qualities (such as the pain relieving effects)...
Wasn't there an Article recently on./ about how Human spit had the same qualities and didn't have any side effects either?
I'm 20 years old and I have been playing WoW for almost two years now (played some in Beta but really started playing after Beta) I have also played several other MMOs that are on the market. MMOs are addictive and it is easy to lose track of time while playing it (and neglect real life friends and work) but the social aspect of MMOs (not just in WoW) is amazing. I think it all comes down to each person and if they can handle everything in Real Life and still play the game too. I have met hundreds of people in WoW and other MMOs and built friendships that are more than 'just a game'. In fact I know of atleast 10+ people that I have met in real life through WoW (and other MMOs) and now have a friendship with them and we hang out from time to time. In fact the girl I am dating now I met through WoW and we have more than enough to talk about, other than just the game. We have a relationship.
I currently have a 7-4 job that I go to and I still coexist with the world and I'm not living on the street begging for money so I can go to the local Internet Cafe to get my fix as some of you would suggest on here. What's the diffrence between playing a game a few hours a night and watching TV a few hours a night? In fact...playing a game is more envolving...requires you to think and interact (even socially). I do have other friends that don't play WoW that I still talk to and hang out with. On average my WoW play time is probably 3+ hours a night and 6+ hours a night on the weekend (provided I don't go out with friends). Now...maybe I am addicted but is it harming me in anyway? I think not.
