He said Google+ *GAMES* have tiny market share compared to Facebook ones, and their taking only 5% from developers compares with 30% for Facebook may be either the cause or the effect of this. Not Google+ as a social platform. The headline makes him sound like a retard, and the editors as illiterate.
One of their graphs is labeled "Performance increases with more tweets from target user", showing that at 32 tweets, their accuracy is > 90%. However this is including things like screen name, profile descriptions and full name. Using only tweets they are at 76% even with many tweets, so yeah quality *is* bettwe but not by much. They also say that only 5% of humans performed better than the machine with many tweets.
Any idea if a similar service will be offered by Walmart Canada? While Netflix in Canada is currently priced at about half of the US price ($7.99 pm), the spectrum of movies and shows is pretty pathetic. I'd happily shell out $16 pm for what you guys in the U.S get. Of course I still subscribe in-spite of the crappy selection, since the documentaries are alright, and $8 pm = a few coffees!
Does anyone here even read the summary together with the article itself and see if it makes sense? He did *not* say "do dumb things". That statement implies that you know its a dumb thing to do and it will not work, yet you do it anyway. In this case you *are* dumb and should be fired. He said "don't be afraid to do dumb things", which has a totally different meaning. It means that you should try approaches that may be non-obvious, but at least you are attempting to solve whatever the problem at hand is in an ingenious way. Sometimes it does not work and you look foolish, but you often get innovative solutions to tough problems.
"the security force is apparently empowered to requisition fuel wherever it finds it in the city.". I guess this is the same empowerment that allows the *government* to requisition fuel from wherever it finds it in any country...
What's the inspiration for choosing short, simple passwords? They are short and simple, so you don't forget them. Similar reason to using the same password for a variety of different purposes. For bank accounts, use the strongest possible password, and don't write it on a sticky note. For Facebook, use "asdf1234" and don't put *any* important information on there.
The title should be fact, the submitters totally worthless opinion should come later. "Apple's patent is too broad" implies that the patent was *not* granted because it was too broad. The title should have been "Apple granted multitouch patent" or some such, the opinions are pointless in the title. FYI/. editors.
He said that *his* adult supervision was not required, referring to the common view that he was the "adult supervision" for the 2 kids. Not the other way round
If you go from 10 to 20 mpg, youre still less than the 33 mpg lower limit in the second case, so the second option "saves more gas". If the question is "which is a bigger improvement in fuel economy", then the answer is the first one.
This is such a subjective myth, and is more a general understanding in software development than a rule. Its impossible to "bust" this, the article is ridiculous and the title even more so. Incidentally, today I just busted the "all managers are technically incompetent morons" myth by writing an awesome piece of code...
and they would choose the best entry to upgrade some of the software on board the shuttle..thank god they have better mechanisms in place for that sort of thing
and works across functional groups as well (http://trac.edgewall.org/). It is mainly geared towards software development efforts, and integrates very well with major version control systems. It also has an integrated bug-tracking system, wiki, and a host of plugins that allow for task-dependencies, project planning, binning tasks into specific milestones, setting time limits on sub-tasks, and in general everything you possibly want to do in a software development environment. In addition, you can create your own plugins, Gantt charts etc if so inclined. You mainly plan and execute projects through "tickets", which could be a task, bug, enhancement, whatever. The meta-data for each ticket can be customized, though the out-of-the-box implementation is pretty useful. And its open-source.
Their flight plan is complicated. They should use my optimized algorithm to get from point A to point B along a curved surface. They'll save even MORE than 25% on fuel
Enough with the over-exaggeration, she seriously has to close the windows? Maybe shes watching TV too loud in the first place. And Ive never seen an ad that pumps up the volume more than a few bars if at all, so rather than trying to get her name on a piece of legislature, she should focus on her own habits?
She should publicly identify the actual movie theater and the managers involved in the prosecution, and that would be a sure way to make them pay through the negative publicity. This is getting totally out of hand, the ridiculous "crackdown" on movie piracy.
are sexually abused by the Internet? I always knew that its only a matter of time before these large "pipes" would start doing real damage, and the "service providers" would think of other ways to screw innocent kids over
Is anyone else bothered by the fact that the Apple Maps icon itself seems to show a route involving driving off an overpass!

I was going to mark this Funny, when you said "real currency" and US dollars in the same context. The yuan *is* the real currency, get used to it.
9/11 was an inside job because man never landed on the moon.
Is that a shutdown?

While this is definitely news that matters, I thought this was stuff for nerds. Are we reporting news in general?

You're an idiot, and theres nothing remotely sensible in your arguments.
