    It's because of Pokemon and other cartoons where stuff 'evolves' in a matter of minutes to a better version. The term 'evolution' has been popularized to become this magical force the high school kid 'believes' in.
    That might even become leverage to creationists and IDers for their argument that science is also a religion.

    Wouldn't it be a lot cheaper to have ten (or twenty, for that matter) 100 KW lasers, than one 1 MW laser? More scalable, no single point of failure.

    You read it wrong. TFA doesn't state that religion isn't superstition. It states that religion offers a benefit of superstition (the words are interchangeable a bit), namely promoting cohesion. This cohesion is a specific effect of religion and not of superstition, though the cause of both is the same because religion is a subclass of superstition.

    To me it's not about having issues, but about added value. It doesn't have any. It isn't more intuitive, and certainly not faster when you're used to the old style menu. I don't think the ribbon is a *very* bad concept, but it does add some UI bloat while it doesn't do anything new.

    I dislike how FUSA (the Fast User Switch Applet) also has IM status and shutdown options. And that the shutdown options from the system menu are removed when you use FUSA. But at least you have a choice not to use FUSA. Other than that, very good stuff!

    Maybe you shouldn't bookmark your porn sites. Or even better, use a different firefox profile for them. Or even better yet, don't use a single user account for every user of your computer. My firefox is MY firefox, and that includes all bookmarks and settings, etc.
