their solution to rising levels of C02 is to pollute our seawater with lime...

the summary never mentioned the time period of the bill... and you apparently stopped reading TFA after that paragraph... he estimated his monthly (30 day) bill to be about $16
"And I've had two out of three ipods break."
I find it fairly interesting that so many people buy ipods when they are a pretty sub-standard product, I still use my iRiver H340 constantly as an mp3 player and portable hard-drive, I run music off it all day at work and back up any docs on it, had the thing for 4years now and it's still going strong.
"web seminar"
it's not a geek term at all, but a marketing one.
my old boss used to love these damn things and every time he'd say the word "webinar" a peice of me died a little inside
only the old grannies without tech-savvy grandkids get ripped off like this... and there are fewer and fewer of them around.
my plan is unlimited uploads and 65gig uploads split over peak - 25gb and offpeak-40gb
i just wish that it was the other way around...
"this landmark, which pretty much created the telecommunications world as we currently know it."
telecommunications of the USA don't you mean?
not everyone in the world has to suffer the USAs ridiculous telecom situation.
then how would you get windows users to migrate to linux? I know there were a couple of killer apps for windows that i never want to part with... such as utorrent, it is so much better than any other bittorent client i've tried.
also another huge plus of wine is the ability to play games on a linux box
the kind of fag you smoke, or the kind that gives it to you somewhere very uncomfortable (hint: not the back of a volkswagen).
You don't get to be in a position where you're the CEO/President of a company who's standard is "blessed" by the Chinese/US/Any government
fixed that for you.
Like the US is any less corrupt than china, just look at US copyright law and the DMCA
I also failed the tesst becuase of mizspeling isshoes in the Englich porshun.
I was never issued a geek card. the damn tesst was written in Cardassian and I spent all week cramming for the Klingon version.

I would trust the individual... how hard is it to buy an "independant" survey these days?
you don't have to install KDE
just the QT library.
same goes if you want to use gnome apps in KDE,
just install GTK.
you can do all of the above with FOSS... until they start removing capabilities like audio recording from the hardware
1. find someone who doesn't want the position and force it upon them.

this is probably true...

I just can't stand watching 7 minutes of program and 3 minutes of ads, i've got better things to do with my time than watch commercials
I'm assuming you must have used a foot pump to inflate them then
