It's important here that the youth of Japan grow up in very small houses, where even some have beds they have to pull out from the walls. It's all about small rooms and small things. or it could be that japanese youth have active lifestyles. They only go on the internet to get information they need, like train scheds, maps, or where to go for bargains, auctions. most highschool kids here dont like staying at home, otherwise people will call you 'otaku'. There could be a connection between average room sizes and maybe penis size, but i doubt if its the cause.

If we could grow brainless human bodies, why not just transplant our brains onto them so we dont have to worry about disease anymore.

So the printer is normal CMYK, but the paper has to have fluorescent agents in it for it to work... so what exactly is the new tech here?

But while China is a, Palestine is really a geographic area - so the comparison doesn't really fit. well the UK gave up any claim to Ireland when they signed the anglo-ireland treaty. so Ireland is really a separate country. No such thing happened between Taiwan (Republic of China) and the PRC. And the governing body of Taiwan(ROC) wants to be part of the mainland, but they want to be in control of the mainland. So, Taiwan is a part of China, because both governments agree to this. What they are disputing is control over China itself. Since the PRC cannot defeat the ROC outright, there is a stalemate at the moment.

So the only way your Ireland/UK analogy would fit is if, the queen got ousted by a communist rebellion, to escape she successfully invades and annexes Ireland. Then Ireland would be part of the UK.

I realize that my Palestine/Israel analogy breaks down at this point as well, but the point i was trying to make was... oh never mind. i forgot what it was.

I say free will is relative to observer and subject. For us, a pachinko ball has no free will, we know its path is a result of gravity and the pins reacting on it. But if the pachinko ball had consciousness, it would think that it was choosing its path, and if it fell towards a path not of its choosing, it would reason that it was not entirely in control of its path, that shit happens sometimes. In our perspective, we have free will. we can choose if we want to do something or not. stay at home, dont go to work. But to a consciousness not bound by time (supposing there is one) our choices have already been made, and we would appear to it as not having free will. free will is relative.

My entire family loved it though and we even got the starwars christmas carols on cassette. I remember "what would you get a wookie for christmass..if he already owns a comb..?" was like a zen moment... ...what Im saying is, StarWars were landmarks of my life. I grew up with it, and I dont think watching the entire 6 movies in any order will give you the same ride that it gave me. Yes, I think the prequels were crappy, but I still enjoyed it... except all the scenes with jarjar in em.
