so I guess you believe extortion torture Corrupt politicians are good things also. If you support evil then it will grow what you should do is support that independent artist so that they don't need RIAA backing.

Actually I would think that you would want a teacher to know how your kids interact and use the tools at hand. Being a parent of Two fairly brilliant and fun (one an engineer for Mercedes, other getting ready to graduate in a few years) I would want this type of person teaching my kids. Why? Because shes in tune and relates with the groups shes teaching. Her very job description is that of relaying knowledge. This means she has to relate with them. The only danger is that of the perceived one, and not the real danger which is ignorance!

It's not the actual drinking that's the problem...that's nobody else's business. It's the teacher publicizing her personal life without discretion. That's the unprofessional behavior here. I'm curious as to what is not appropriate about a picture in this space? Many of my daughters teachers have myspace areas for the purpose of homework assignments and such. A picture of her in a pirate hat (well not really but for arguments sake it is). on Halloween? if anything it shows that a person that will be teaching children is actually in tune with their social structure and how it works. She should be applauded for having the foresight to use this technology to get through to students. There was nothing inappropriate here other than the University's lack of foresight and integrity.

I've been in a similar position where I was asked me to testify against my employer. My employer made it clear that if I did "my Career" path would be very limited. So I testified my company was found at fault and within 3 months I was asked to resign, at which point I refused. A few months later I was RIF'd from my position with no separation package. In the exit interview I simply stated "wonder how the lawyers" will feel about this. True to form I had an offer to leave and not come back but I would receive a paycheck for the next 18 months along with all my benefits. If you do the right thing you wont have any regrets. In your position I'm guessing you probably have a manager that is trying to look good by saving money. when the chips fall he's not going to stand in the way of some one else taking the blame. Kids rebel that is part of their growing up. I did, most "normal" children do. The difference here is that the adult, rather than taking the high ground and appropriate action and "EDUCATING"(he is an educator) these young minds, has decided that he will drag it out, waste public funds and the courts time. In other times the principal would have contacted the parents and a reasonable solution would have been reached.
