  2. Klingon Academy on Star Trek Legacy Review · · Score: 1

Klingon Academy (KA) is a really great game. Many times over better than Starfleet Academy. It was released in 2000, and still holds a pretty good following. They actually reworked the engine to get the game to run on Windows 2000 ( which was released about midway through the development cycle ). I had the pleasure of being part of the forums for a few years leading up to it. It was Interplays last game before they lost the Startrek license.

KA still has as pretty good following though the MOD community for it isn't nearly what it use to be there are still some people working on projects.

There's a link on the second site to the game if you wish to download it. Since Interplay is gone that's probably the only chance you have to get a copy of it.

"Alien" means just that. Until it's been identified as a alien spaceship, it could just as well be the alien spaghetti monster. I don't know why everyone assumes just because humans can't identify something in the sky it MUST be little green men from space. Humans have terrible long range vision and generally very poor video recording devices. Most people probably can't identify something 1 mile in front of them on the ground.

That's easy, clashes shouldn't hold like in the movies. Tn the game you're probably trying to harm the person not carry on a convo about parenting. If the swords do 'lock' in game, it gets marked a block and it pushes your character back to a 'reset position'.

I'm sure if managed properly people could get good at forcing people off edges (or into corners), with timed blocks...
