Crapware is a thing from the big pc manufacturers. You can also buy a ready made pc from a small shop, who build them for you. These little shops are often run by pc ethusiasts, who can give you advice on what to choose. The one I know, even gives you the option no os, os on disc or preinstalled. No crapware, just an oem version of win7.
I have to agree. My current pc's Pentium 4 processor is still fast enough for what I do, wich is mostly programming, webbrowsing and cad, but I still will have to replace the machine because it doesn't allow enough memory to be installed and there are no SATA ports on the board so changing my aging hdd with an ssd as the bootdisc is difficult if not impossible
There are ways of distributing keys to the receiverdevices dayly without having to trust GI's and excluding the boxes that have been reported stolen or missing.
I still don't understand why a windows computer is used for fileserver purposes. Something embedded with for example an ARM processor on it sounds must more robust and energy efficient to me.
....also the person currently in possession of it is not neccessarily the/a thief. He/she might have bought it in good faith from a fellow student or something.
yeah, besided the body already knows how to kill cancercells. There's just something out of balance about that ability in cancer patiens that could use some stimulation.

Not to mention desolder..... :O
Lead-free solder is a disaster to desolder anyway.
But then there is the tempation to spend $10 extra the 1st time and get something twice as fast right away.
Well, that had to be when I replaced my Intel 8088 with a NEC V20 @8Mhz I had the fastest PC/XT in the street.
Linus is of the Swedish speaking minority in Finland, you insensitive clod!

Makes sparks and everything. Ik kind of miss it as a virtual fireplace...
Yeah, medicine is good business, but first you need to create a market for it.
Now can somebody throw that nutcase and all of his research in a volcano or something :s
Why fibers? Skin is translucent enough.

Because the 328 does not have enough pins. (28 or 32 pins versus 40/44 pins)

worded differently: If you have a healthy gutflora, maintained with good food, then the occasional big mac isn't going cause any trouble.
Must be all those happy bugs enjoying life.
If a dog pees in your garden, nothing much happens. If he does it regularly you will find that nettles wil start to like your garden.
to have had my school time in the seventies and eighties in Europe. To date I have never seen a real gun irl and choose to keep it that way.
Ow, I dunno. Maybe if you optimize the code a bit.
