If nobody owns the music they want, they buy it. Once most people have the songs they want, sales will tale off. It's not like nobody knew this was coming... The incredible growth rate of PC sales slowed and now companies like Dell are feeling the effect too.
For companies that sale popular products, saturation is a bitch.
Why do they always release the consoles around a month before Christmas? Why wouldn't they do it at least 3 months before Christmas allowing for more time to get more units on the market?
It's all about who is running the show. A smart guy running the show deflects questions to people that know the answer. Idiots that run the show try to answer the question they know nothing about and make decision based on what they think *should* be the right answer and ignore those in the know because they are intimidated by them.
Why you ask would an owner of a sports franchise care? Because he isn't just the owner the the Dallas Mavericks. He is a media guy who owns HD-Net. An broadcasting and media company that creates HD media and of course the last thing he wants is his media to appear on YouTube. He is a wannbe Ted Turner/Rupert Murdoc.
Make that hundreds of thousands and I'll agree with you. To paraphrase the book of Samuel: Saddam has killed his thousands, Bush has killed his ten thousands.
I'm guessing you mean Saddam has killed his hundreds of thousands, Bush has killed his ten thousand.
Cause if you don't recall, Saddam gased not one, but several hundred thousand in northen Iraq.
So, call Oracle to support RHEL Linux that Oracle is running on and call Redhat to support RHEL is isn't running Oracle?...I don't like it. If I have a problem with Oracle running on RHEL then Oracle has to fix it since Oracle is certified to run on it. If their is a kernel patch to fix a problem with Oracle on RHEL, then chances are Oracle will work with Redhat or submit the patch to fix the problem.
I will stick with Redhat supporting ALL of my RHEL servers and Oracle support my 10g RAC.
YouTube will retain its brand and all its 67 employees, including co-founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen.
If I just got paid 1.65 billion for a website I created, I don't think I would want anything to do with it after that. I would mark it up as success and move on. Maybe it's just me, but I would say the job was complete. Next.
He just spent $350 million a year ago on a new headquarters in the Presidio area of San Francisco. It has 865,000 square feet as a data center for render farm, file servers and storage systems. Thats a ton of money and equipment for doing cheap side films...
This anal position is just part of the reason I don't use Debian. I'm all for free an open source software. It's my prefered source of software, but I'm not extremely anal about it ala Debian.

I accelerate particles every morning when I fire one out...
I use the big bang to encode my secret plans!
Anyone know if any reviews of GFS2 in actual use compared to other clustered filesystems?
Considering you are defending this, I'm guessing you have taken part in these types of shenanigans.
:D
The-Bobmeister is guilty as charged!
You know you're a loser when you stoop to doing something like this.
and anyone affiliated with the MPAA using one owes me 50 billion dollars per minute of use.
Jackasses.

Well, considering they lose $300 for each one they sell, perhaps it would be better to lose -$300...
At a loss of -$300 for each PS3 not sold they will be billionaires in no time!

This happens all the time.

Novell just pulled an EV1/SCO type deal except being Novell/Microsoft?
I would wish everyone that worked for this company would burn in hell. Well, here is hoping for a painful death for all of them anyhow.
I just watched a show on this on the Science Channel. It was pretty good. If you're interested in it, you should check for a re-broadcast.

Anyone cached a copy before it died a slashdot death?
Not long ago I was hearing how Apple is going to have trouble competing with Microsoft's iPod killer...
Next story please... How about something to do with HD-DVD vs Blu-Ray or maybe even VHS vs BetaMax!
Apple-sponsored research says
Exactly. If I were Apple I would want to sell more large screens too!
A Meat Socket has a longevity of 5 years... Maybe thats what you need. :)
Well, your life sucks.
