Once these are cheaper then I might switch, but for now the $60 progressives that I bought from http://www.zennioptical.com/ are working just fine thanks.
Even if this was a valid patent the websites are all just sending html/text to whatever agent the user is running. It's the browser that is actually doing the rendering. So does that not mean that the browser is the one that needs to get the license?
The most popular educator on YouTube does not have a Ph.D. He has never taught at a college or university. And he delivers all of his lectures from a bedroom closet.
This upstart is Salman Khan, a 33-year-old who quit his job as a financial analyst to spend more time making homemade lecture videos in his home studio. His unusual teaching materials started as a way to tutor his faraway cousins, but his lectures have grown into an online phenomenon—and a kind of protest against what he sees as a flawed educational system.
What I meant was, is it possible for someone to write some sort of program that constantly makes it look like a bunch of people are torrenting a particular file when they are not. They could then put in the IP addresses of a bunch of "enemies" in the hopes that they get caught. Is that possible?
I recently bought a 2nd LED LCD TV and must have done a fair bit of searching. I keep getting ads that specifically show the TV model that I already bought. I guess there is no easy way to tell big brother that I already bought it!
Once they seize it is there any way that it can still talk to the outside world or record video and audio to be viewed later?
I could see someone getting a laptop seized on purpose just to see what happens to it while it is in custody. Even if they only pop out the hard drive and don't boot the laptop itself you could have a 2nd hidden video/audio recorder also inside watching them.
"City ranking requires at least 1,000 unique IP addresses for a given city."
Sadly I live in a village with less than 1,000 houses so it won't show up on the results page.
According to my credit card merchant agreement (for Visa and Mastercard) I am not allowed to offer a discount for cash or other forms of payment, I am also not allowed to charge a surcharge for their cards and I am also not allowed to ask for any extra Identification. I am surprised that Visa and MC are not enforcing that in all countries (we are in Canada).
Flash itself contains an interpreter so apps can run non-approved code and that is against Apples rules.
So the flash team wrote an exporter that converts your flash app to actual c# code that doesn't have any emulation layer, it's all code that could have been written by a human but is instead generated by an exporter or converter. None of the actual generated code goes against any of their rules / guidelines.
So then Apple ads a new rule that you can't use any code converters / generators. That is essentially locking out the competitions tools. That's like saying you can't put any art inside an iPhone or iPad game that you used Photoshop to edit.
From now on all iProduct apps must have images taken with an iCamera and audio recorded with an iMicrophone. We can't allow any assets that are generated without one of our iDeveloper products! Forget using Photoshop, some of those pixels could contain viruses!!

Not Exactly. All the other stores in the same strip mall would also be shut down too. Just because they have the same landlord.

I thought it was just me. Hopefully they will fix it soon!

Is it possible for someone to make it look like your IP address is downloading from a torrent when you are not?
