  1. Creator of Problem on Microsoft VP Suggests 'Net Tax To Clean Computers · · Score: 1

Yep, just like health care - there's a conflict of interest: Bill Gates / Microsoft created the problem they want to tax for. Had they written Windows properly we would not have this problem. May Gates burn in Heck.

Interesting case. On the one hand it is his art and the USPO should have known better than to blatantly rip it off but on the other hand he was HIRED and paid for the art so the USGov should now hold the rights to the art and all images, representations, et cetera.

    Al Gore is a Hypocrite.

Geez. The original price people said it need to be under was $1,000. It is half of that and you are demanding another $100 off? You'll never be happy even if you were paid to take one.

  7. *sign* on Entergy Admits 2005 Tritium Leak · · Score: 1

Nuclear power could be such a good thing. But it isn't they way they're doing it. This comes from the simple reason that we're stuck with corporate greed like this. Entergy has been underfunding the decommissioning fund for Vermont Yankee. Then with the stock market crash it went even further down. Then there was the cooling tower that collapsed. That was dramatic. Then they lied to us about the pipes saying there were no under ground pipes. Then they said yes there were underground pipes but they carried no radioactive materials. And then they lied about lying. And then lied about lying about lying. There comes a time when we need to just cut these goons off at the ankles. They've gone too far.

Health care should not be coupled with employment. It hides the costs and jumps the price in doing so. If people had to pay for their own health care and health insurance the price would drop remarkably and they would care about it more. We don't expect our auto vendor or employer to pay for our auto insurance. We don't expect our mortgage holder or building contractor to pay for our property insurance. Health insurance should not be paid for by the employer.

  14. Not News on Bill Gates Responds To Apple iPad · · Score: 1

This would have been worthy news if Bill Gates had gushed about how great the iPad was and said he was going to be first in line to get three. An ice age would be far more devastating than global warming.
All these global warming activists, especially Gore, are missing the point.
It is not warming that is the issue. The problem is pollution.
